She is enjoying life, so dont be too hard on her. Take away any toys that contain catnip, that can make her a little too wild with the scratching and biting. Kitten proof your home by putting away breakables until she is a little older. Try to use toys that encourage her to run on the floor, like balls, and not jump up, like dangling toys.

She is just a kitten yet mine is the same way thy will look at you and do it and they know it makes up angry. Try using the water bottle method. Just a spray bottle and squirt him/her when they do something wrong. ONLY when they do it wrong. For the mean time. Do not put anything valuable on the counters for know. Also be mean to the animal when you say no make sure you say no all the time do not let them get away with i even if you are having a bad day and do not want to yell at him. Good luck!

She is just releasing energy. Have you tried a cat scratching post? Or if you can afford one a cat house (one with several levels) for kitty's amusement? Try something like that. They are fun things for the cats and a true enjoyment to watch them!

My cat is 7 and still plays like a kitten ! Mine scratches the carpet and the new couch.... I think it is mostly for attention though. Gotta luv him though. He sure has his own personality and does his "aren't I tooo cute look" all the time. If cats barked... you would have a problem (in apt. building) Good luck and enjoy your kitten.

Awww. She's just being an 8 month old ! Usually kittens use up all of the energy when they are playing with their littermates. Since you're her only interaction, you've got to bear the full brunt of it. Treasure this time. Trust me, pretty soon she'll settle down and you'll find yourself missing her little shenanagins.

This sounds like normal kitten behavior. However, if this type of behavior continues, I highly recommend a product called Feliway. You can find it at any pet store or from your vet. It is a formula of cat pheromones, used to calm cats down.

as she gets older she will probley get a little more tame. most cats go through this. my cats are still that way. their just very playful. although this sounds bad, i spray my cats with water when ever they did something that could cause damage. it seemed to work because they don't act like that anymore.

Follow these steps...
1. open cage door
2. put cat in cage
3. close cage door
4. pick up cage and shake it (2-4 minutes is normally long enough but use your own disgression)
5. release cat from cage
If problems continue repeat as many times as necessary
