If you get bit by a cat you are definitely prone to a big infection. A cats bite is worse than a dogs and by any means more infectious. One of my Co-workers got bit by one and her hand swelled up tremendously and she had to go to the hospital to get it drained. Oh they leave really good scars too. The cat bite isn't toxic, it's just more infectious. Very infectious! If you get bit pour clorox on it and alchol even if it burns, and rush to hospital!!!

No they aren't toxic. All animals and humans especially have bacteria in there mouths. some more than others. A bite can transmit the bacteria into the skin and cause a infection if not treated. Your pet gopher could have gotten this and died. Also take into fact a gopher is food to a cat. They do hunt them when they can and your gopher could of died from a unknown injury caused from the cat bite itself.

Cat bites aren't toxic. They are however prone to becoming infected. Cats have sharp, pointy teeth which create puncture wounds. I think the gophers who died probably had internal injuries caused by the cat, but they surely weren't poisoned by the bite.

Cat bites can be bad, they have high bacteria in their mouths, as a vet tech I got bit a few times, one I had to get a tetnus shot because it was bad. Once bitten you should immediatly wash it out with peroxide and keep an eye on it, and watch for a red line moving in the direction of your heart, this is the info. I received from my Vet and my Dr.

well, its possible the cat bit the gopher in a spot that caused it internal damage or caused him to bleed internally or whatever...

cat bites aren't "toxic" as in, they haven o venom, but bacteria can enter through a bite and cause infection... usually not severe, but its always good to wash an animal bite well with antibacterial soap, and if your cat isn't up to date on shots... get yourself or whoever is bitten, into a dr asap

Cat bites can become infected and that can cause problems, but they aren't toxic per se. However, cat bites and the germs that come with them can definitely do in small animals.

All animal's mouths, including human's (actually, especially human's) have a whole host of bacteria in them. And punture wounds are especially prone to infection. There's nothing special in a cat bite that makes it particularly toxic, but it can get get infected just like any other bite. Human bites are actually far worse.

Aloe vera is poisonous to cats - it reasons vomiting and diarrhoea and reasons abdomen upsets. in case your cat does cutting-edge with vomiting and diarrhoea interior of right here couple of hours, seek for veterinary suggestion as quickly as plausible because of the fact the outcomes could properly be deadly if a huge volume became into ingested. in spite of the indisputable fact that, as this became into in basic terms a bite from the plant, i would not assume it to be deadly, yet i could computer screen heavily for right here couple of hours - if any abnormalities happen, take her to vet for remedy for poisioning - take the two cat and plant to the vet so which you would be able to practice how plenty became into ingested so the vet can verify the wear slightly extra desirable. i'm hoping this helps - please let us know what occurs!!

Cat saliva contains a bacteria that can kill a small animal. I know that the saliva will kill a bird so I'm betting it can kill other small animals as well.

Please stop catching wildlife and trying to make them pets.
