They have both injections OR pills to deworm a cat. Pills can be picked up from the vet and given at home, the injection has to be given by the vet. Injections are usually more expensive for the convenience factor....not having to pill your cat at home. Both are the same medication so both are equally effective.

Yes there are deworming pills for cats. if you think your cat has intestinal parasites take a sample of the stool to your vet and have the correctly identify them. Then get the proper dewormer

There are deworming pills for cats which you have to purchase at the vets office. They are alot better than the shot since the shot stings the cat. The pill is alittle tricky since they have to swallow it and then they have this foamy mucus in their mouth after.

You can usually actually get deworming pills over-the-counter, at large pet-stores, and if not, go to the Vet with your cat and ask for some.

honestly pill. i'm a large believer in giving oral drugs each and every time obtainable as a substitute of injections. Any time a puppy gets an injection, there's a risk (a small one, in spite of if it continues to be modern-day) that they are able to have an damaging reaction. If a puppy has an damaging reaction to a pill, it is going to go away their device somewhat immediately, yet whilst a puppy has an damaging reaction to an injection, it could stay of their device plenty longer. Plus, might you somewhat take a pill or get a shot? (ouch!) yet i might advise getting a prescription deworming pill out of your vet--it is going to artwork greater effective than something you may recover from-the-counter and kill a broader variety of parasites.

There is shots and pills, but the best idea on my opinion is to get the cat a de-worming process at the vet. It's probably safer occuring to the cat's condition.

There is both, but don't use the over the counter stuff. It never works I learned after deworming a couple litters of pups and my cats that it didn't work. I went to vet and got strongid which worked GREAT !!

If you know the type just go to the pet section and you will find it. They have pill and liquide forms.
Avoid Hartz brands. I dont trust them at all since they make flea killers for cats that can cause them to have serious allergic reations or death. Just never trusted that brand at all.

You can also try your farming or livestock stores(if your by one). I come from a part of Texas that has lots of farming and live stock. They sold alot of things in there.

Yeah but the shots are WAY better and work more too, but the pills are good tooo but they are hard to give them to your cat as he/she may not be able to swalloy them.
