PLEASE!! Try Odo Ban! Get it at your Sam's Club. It actually eliminates ANY smell....yes -- even skunk! It will also erase the stain! It works on carpet and other soft fabrics, & hard surfaces. It is the most fabulous stuff I've found!
You'll find it in a gallon jug (if you're a pet owner you'll want it on hand anyway) in the cleaning suppy aisle. It's a liquid. It has a nice fragrance. TRY IT

My cat peed on my daughter's leather boots. I hand-washed them in my sink with cold water and laundry detergent only on the part that was peed on. I also used a new toothbrush to brush the stain itself. Make sure you use a new toothbrush, old ones have toothpaste residue(peroxide anyone?). I then put them on a shoe shaper so they would dry without deforming. The smell and stain came out without a problem.

Follow these steps...
1. open cage door
2. put cat in cage
3. close cage door
4. pick up cage and shake it (2-4 minutes is normally long enough but use your own disgression)
5. release cat from cage
If problems continue repeat as many times as necessary
(sometimes the dryer might be a better option when it comes to $150 boots)

I really think you are just going to have to get new boots. But don't try to machine wash them. Cat pee is a really really smell to get rid of.

do not machine wash them. Take them to a leather-smith. If you don't want the expense, try saddle soap. If you put water on them, they will dry out and shrink.

Pet stores sell a solution called "Get Serious!" you could try dapping some on a cloth and wipe the boots.It will kill the smell and keep the cat away

Put leather boots in the washing machine. Your best bet is to take them to the dry cleaner, or to a shoe repair. They will only cost about $20.00 to be cleaned whereas it would cost $150 to replace them after you've washed them in a washing machine.
