try a spray called "fooey" it repells my male cat from certain areas of the house. lightly spray it around the foot of the bed and where ever else he urinates and once he smells it, he'll automatically back off. it's a male dominence issue lol.

$300.00 is WAYYYYY toooo expecnsive. Open your yellow book and call around various vet offices for quotes on neutering. I live in Oregon and the last kitty I had neutered cost me $30.00 - and that is with the rabies shot already. If your male cat if 7 yrs old or older, then a blood test is mandatory to see if all his organs are functioning well. If your cat is a year old or less, usually the vet will want to palpate (feel) his organs, listen to his heart for any murmurs and check his respiratory rate. That's all. Call around various vet offeces and get a better quote. The spraying will not stop until you have the cat fixed.

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!

Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

If you can't afford to get him fixed, then you probably shouldn't have a cat. Getting him neutered shouldn't cost a lot... who ever told you it would is a liar. Should be less then $50. That is nothing compared to the things he could ruin by spraying if he hasn't already. He will stop spraying after being neutered, only a small % will still do it, and they even don't do it as much as if they weren't fixed.

There is absolutely nothing you can do unless you have him neutered. By doing things such as abusing him (spraying him with water) or yelling at him, you will only psychologically hurt the animal and make it not like humans. You need to know what you are getting before you get the animal. If you can't afford to take care of it then you shouldn't have it in the first place.

You must let the animal do whatever it wants. Tryiing to discipline the animal will only make the cat hate you and all humans, and become mean.

The cat will bite. You can't stop this, it is encoded in its DNA. Just like how humans play with things with our fingers, cats bite. It is how they play.

Cats also have a hatred of water encoded into their DNA. This means, spraying the cat with water will psychologically program negative interactions into the cats brain, and thus make the cat reclusive and afraid to go near you.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

The vet wants $300 to get him fixed? Good Lord!

Go to the SPCA or the local humane society - I got both of my boys neutered for $50.00 at the SPCA. They do dozens every day and the vets are there because they really care about animals. If you call either of them and tell them you need to get your cats fixed but don't have a lot of money, they may be able to help you.

My Male Kitty sprayed everything too, It is a potent stink, as you know. Try and find a low cost spy and neuter clinic. Usually it only costs about $20.00 and it stopped my cat from spraying. It should at least stop the potent smell for sure. Good Luck

grew to become into he fixed early in existence, or later? on occasion, while a male cat is fixed later in existence, they nevertheless have the intuition to spray. he's largely marking his territory, and his territory is your place. If he grew to become into fixed early, then there could be some wellbeing subject concerns you'll be able to could handle inclusive of a urinary tract an infection, or another variety of bladder an infection. There could be different subject concerns to boot inclusive of he does not like the place the muddle container is placed, the muddle isn't the form he likes, or there is something else in the domicile he's "rebelling" against inclusive of a clean addition to the kin (human or animal), a modern-day circulate, and so on. Cats do no longer take exchange o.k.. you'll be able to desire to have the means to locate the reason for the spraying formerly you are able to take care of it. sturdy success!

I recommend that you call around and find a place that can either neuter him for free or at a reduced cost to you. Having him neutered can very well stop him from spraying. Not in every case, but it is quite possible.

Give the cat to a no-kill rescue group. If you can't afford the $50 (OR LESS) to get him fixed, you can't afford to care for him properly. Neutering MAY help stop him from spraying, but there is no guarantee. Either way, you can't afford him, so he deserves a home that can properly care for him. Otherwise, keep him inside 100% of the time and get used to a cat pee smell.
