get a kitten...?

Question

what could i say to a person who doesn't want me to have a kitten because:

too many kids in the house
too much money
too messy
who will clean to poop

I NEED an answer!

Buy a litter maid that automatically cleans the poop. It will cost you $170. Cats are not messy. They are always grooming themselves. Although they do shed. I think they are inexpensive, but you have to be responsible and take your cat to the vet when he/she seems ill. The vet may be costly.
