Is it true that if you pull a cat's legs apart it will stretch their heart? My boyfriend and his Mum keep laughing at my statement, is it true? Help! love sammy x

Yes because the Cats heart is in the middle of its chest, if you pull the legs apart it can tear the heart, killing the cat!

I was always taught as a child that if you are attacked by a dog you should try to pull apart its front legs as it will stretch the chest and cause the heart to rupture. if this is correct then I guess the same could easily go for a cat.

All I can say is don't experiment or I will come round and do the same to you, except each leg will be tied to a truck going in opposite directions first.

No It's not true ,in fact you could kill it , forcing the legs apart puts pressure on the heart.
