I am moving into a home who had 3 cats. It does not smell like urine however whenever I come into the house, you can tell that there are cats there. I have heard of air fresheners but I am not looking to "cover" the smell...I want to eliminate it all together.

Check out these websites! Make note to change the litter once a week (plus or minus depending on how many cats you own)! Scoop litter at least once a day, etc! I recently read an article on how to eliminate cat odor (mainly urine) I will post some sites! Be weary of cleaning products... If your cats ingest product residue it could be a fatal or serious issue!

Look for a home Ionizer. I have three medium/large sized indoor dogs and it keeps the house fresh and is also great for everyday use. They romove the smell from any fabric too (carpet, rugs). They are small and most of them will Ionize a whole house. They also filter air dust out of the air and are quiet.

Baking soda is awesome stuff. Sprinkle it on your carpet and work it in with your hands or bare feet and then vacuum it up. That stuff absorbs all kinds of odors, cat and otherwise.
Also, clean your hard surfaces with vinegar. It doesn't mask thing with a flowery scent, just a clean one.

Ok get Resolve cleaner, It is great! And it works! Or
Get Febreeze, it works too & it totally eliminates the cat smell.
Or get candles. Or get air fresheners.
If none of that works get profecianal help.
Well I hope my answer is good!

Rent a deep cleaner or buy one. Your only other choice is to remove your carpets, and repaint your house.
