My cat is in labour how long will she be in labour for? And when am I supossed to know when she about to have them. Thank-you

It all depends on the cat. Its just like humans....two mintues to 24 hours...Just watch for crowning...If you are really conserned...Call a vet to make a house call

Our cat had 5 babies last year. We kept her in a bathroom, in a box with a towel, checked on her every 1/2 hour. After her first was born, it took her another 4 hours to have the other 4, but that was her. All cats are different, just have patience. Stand nearby just in case she needs you. For the most part, they do fine on their own. Good luck

There is not set time for a cat to labor. Put your cat in a warm dry place and leave her alone. If after a few hours she has not started birthing you may want to call your vet. Cats have a natural ability to birth and most times do not need any help from humans.

If she is in labor now, you would see her body thrust forward and see her pushing and she will mostly let out a loud meow while she is giving birth. Keep an eye on her for more to come out. It could be 10 minutes or a few hours.

you'll see her stomach contracting. and stuff will be coming out of her butt, it depends how long she will be in labor depends on how she is doing some cats take forever but others don't. good luck.
