I know my male cat has never been effected by all that orange junk, he would lick it and stuff. Other orange things he didn't mind. But now he was trying to eat unpeeled oranges *sighs*

Not at all surprising. My cat now will not eat any people food except for green olives. And he doesn't just lick the salt off he eats the whole thing. My husband had a cat that would eat everything you put in front of him even onions. Animals are just quirky like that sometimes.

Nothing wrong with that. Cats will find another source for vitamins they may be lacking or in greater need of at the time. Plus he may just have developed a taste for them.

One of my cats loves cantaloupe. All I have to do is cut one and he immediately responds to the smell. His brother doesn't like melons of any kind, but he likes lime juice where the one who like melons turns his nose up at anything citrus.
