when i come home from out and hold my kitten he starts to purr , is he purring because hes saying that he was alone and sad at home or is he showing me that hes happy ?

lately she has had a problem excreting, like she's constipated. Could that be the problem, or could it be a sign of her bodily functions failing as a result of old age? Please, any help, or advice, would be greatly appreciated!!

My cat is making me crazy!! Whenever i close a door she incessantly meows until she is let in then when i close the door again she meows to be let out! I must keep atleast one door in my home closed at one time or another (like the bathroom) or bedroom for privacy...why is she doing this? Why won't she stop? And yes I have just left the door closed and she literally meowed at the door for 2 hours straight until i let her back in geez!

My 2 year old cat has recently been waking me up every night...crawling all over me while I am sleeping, and he just cries and cries and cries. He always has food in his bowl, and I give him too much attention as it is. The vet didn't want to put him on meds just yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

So I broke up a fight between my cat and my parent's cat earlier today. My cat was in a frenzy and kind of attacked my head. I have a few puncture spots behind my ears on both sides. I think I've heard about some kind of infection or something that can occur. Is that true and is there anything I should do? It doesn't hurt anymore, just stung for the first little while.

Across from my house is a field, around the area there are several stary cats. The other night I hear screaming like a small child is being tortured at 2 in the morning. I find out it is a freakin cat in heat. What can I do to get rid of them aside from throwing a can of beer at it? I would like safe suggestions before having to resort to well you know.. Thanks.

Hello!
My cat got ringworm FROM HIS VET'S CLINIC. Ridiculous but thats true. He got ointment called Tri-Otic and we apply it on his ear twice a day. He also got 2 shots against ringworm. His ear is visibly ok but now he got it on his other ear and above his eye, coz he is rubbing the medicine and the infection all over his face and ears.
I am fed up with this ringworm problem
Please tell me how to clean the environment at home-I dont mind doing it every day, and tell from your own experience how to treat this nasty ringworm infection and how long did it take to cure your pet.

Hi..I was wondering, if a kitten was abit smaller than all the other new borns, does that mean it won't survive? and how can I tell if a kitten is really having enough milk from her mama?
What do kittens do all day when they're still babies? like, are they supposed to just drink milk 24 hrs a day or what?

& when will the "danger zone" pass? like, how many days should a kitten survive to make sure they'll grow up healthy? how many days/weeks.

I had a cat for about 15 months but decided to put her up for adoption because she shed a ton of hair and meowed all the time. I made sure to get her into a good home, a woman that I knew who was very responsible and nice. I just got an email from the woman saying she has to give up the cat because the cat sheds too much hair and her husband has had enough. When I found this out I got really upset. I really don't want the cat living with me, but the idea of the "unknown" of where my cat will be really bothers me. Part of me wants to bring the cat back here, but I know after a couple of days I'm going to regret my decision. Please help me, what should I do?

I have two male cats, both from the same litter. They are 4 years old. Recently my little sister just got a kitten for her birthday! It's a female cat and she is only 10 months old. I have tried everything I can think of to try to introduce them, but my boys are a little on the skittish side, and the girl cat really wants to get in thier face. The hiss and scratch at her and then fight with each other! I am really at a loss on how to bring them together so our house can have peace heh. Thank you for your help!

I have some questions about cats and their mating process.
A) Does the male cat stick around after the sex?
B)Do other tom's still compete for the female after she has chosen one/ had sex with one?
C) Are there anyways, beside spaying, to prevent a female cat from becoming pregnant?
