LIKE HUMANS 'SOME ARE GOOD AND SOME ARE OK..I WOULD LET HER SLEEP BY SOMETHINGS OF THE BABIES;SO SHE'LL GET USED TO THE BABys SMELL.LET THE KITTY SMELL THE BABY WHEN YOU ARE THERE AND IF HOLDING BABY'IF THE CATS COMES AROUND LET KITTY KNOW THST YOU STILL LOVE HER
BY PETTING MORE THAN BEFORE,,KITTY WILL GET USED TO THE BABY'.IN A WHILE LIKE A WEEK OR TWO......good luck,,,,,,

Older cats are fine around babies, and it really depends upon how your kitten acts. As a rule I would not allow my kitten around a newborn since he has a tendancy to scratch and bite...If he was around I'd make sure to keep a close watch on him. I have a very energetic and fiesty kitten, I would not trust him for a second!

As with all pets you need to be present at ALL times when they interact with your children. Especially a newborn who has weakened immune system. Just watch your cat at all times, remeber he was there before the baby and may be slightly jealous and extremely curious.
