Me. I have 3 cats and they all have their personality and quirks. One gets jealous when my dog comes over by me and wants attention and swaps at the dog.

I have two cats, Oreo (short haired male) and Icy (long haired female). Oreo is older and is truly the apple of my eye. He's almost 1 and for a while was the only cat. He grew very attached to me and communicates with me on a regular basis with mewing, purring and "talking". He gives me little kisses on my chin and rubs noses. He's extremely patient with our 18 month old, although he is equally as jealous, but he despises my 8yr old because he used to be mean to him! I can't have the baby on my lap without making room for Oreo as well. If I ever push him away or reject him, he gets very upset and heads straight for the door!

Icy is a nutty basket-case! She was an outdoor cat that we rescued when she was about 3 months old, but now, 4 months later, she's still just as nutty. She's very shy and only comes out when the kids have settled and the house is quiet. She wants to be pet only when she "asks" to be, & only wants to bother with Oreo when SHE feels like it!. She's odd to me, but she's still family, so we put up with it all!

We live in an apartment and would love to move to a larger space. I recently came across a wonderful place for a great price, but they would not let us bring our cats, so we had to turn them down!

Our cats are our children and just like our human boys, we would never move where they would not be welcomed.

My cat has emotions and feelings, and can be a bit of a drama queen. The other night I came home about 3 hours late from work, due to a snow storm out here in Ohio. Hobbes usually greets me at the door and enjoys a good 15 minutes of clawing at my shoes, getting petted, and rubbing up against me. That night she meowed at me once in a dissatisfied tone and walked away. I had to call a couple people about something for work and was on my cell for like an hour. I had some paperwork on my computer desk, blocking Hobbes from jumping up here like she usually does, so she nipped at my leg for a bit. I guess I wasn't paying enough attention to her so she ran across the dining room table and shoved one of the chairs with her front paws, knocking it to the floor. She let out a loud meow, not in pain or anything, but sort of a "Hey, look at MEEE!" I had to excuse myself from my call, go fuss over her, and apologize profusely that I wasn't paying attention to her. I moved some papers away from the desk and put her up there. She stretched out, got comfy, and let her motor run. LOL, we mustn't upset the cat!

I agree strongly. I am so happy my Prissy has a very happy and sweet disposition. I had her fixed when she was young so she would never have to feel the discomfort of those hormones taking over and uncomfortable feelings, I never wanted her to feel that. Good Question.

Cats are very sesitive and sometimes emotional. They are very selfish. They are one of the animals in this world that can stick their head in the air and don't have a problem with it. Some are nice but the nice ones are hard to find.

They very well have feelings just like humans. They feel jealous when another animal or person for that matter interferes with the person they are used to.

i fully agree. when our little female got into mischief and you would correct her, she would sniffle like a human child crying. i believe all animals have the ability to feel emotions and feelings.

they have happy, hyper, and natural. the first cat probably is hyper most of the time. the other cat probably is natural most of the time. if the cats purr that means they are happy.
