i got 2 cats from the SPCA in the summer, they told me that they where both boys and had been sprayed and nuetered! i know for sure that my cat smokey, is a boy...but my other cat pepper im not so sure about. pepper acts very moody and scratches and meows alot, and pepper has a weight problem but smokey is supper skinny. and smokey climbs on top of pepper somtimes, im not sure if they are fighting or mating. im very confused! somone PLEEEZ tell how i can figure out if pepper is a boy or girl!!

Hi unfortuantley my 8 month old cat was knocked over about 3 weeks ago and i have a little boy who is 3 and is very upset. Im trying to get a kitten or a young cat for him, not as a replacement but for comfort and love for him aswell as myself. This is a question that has been asked to me a lot of times and when people say that cats are afraid of water, well, its not totally correct.

Cats do not like water because they are lazy, because once wet, they have to lick themselves up to dry, and since it is a lot of work, well, cats don't like it pretty much. You might also give some other explainations or theories about this subject.

do something good so I was wondering- my cat's pawing at a chess set with glass pieces and knocked one over- that's when I said no in a serious tone and she looked at me and stopped. I was very happy about that so I thought if I asked her to get down and she did, could I give her a treat to reward that or will she get confused that I'm rewarding her for having touched the chess set?

my cat will watch birds out the window and make the weirdest noise, like he vibrates his cheeks to make a flapping sort of noise, I don't know but it'd really odd.

he also likes to jump on the computer dest and watch me move the mouse on the screen

We have a big problem around here with stray cats (mainly from pets not being desexed) Cats running around in other peoples yards and killing wild life.

Is your cat desexed, is it an indoor cat? Or has your it got the run of the neighbourhood.

Just seeing how many people do or do not.

and were fixed at a very young age. More recently, the boy has been trying to mate w/ his sister. Why would this happen? He never had those urges before. Should I be monitoring his television more closely? Thanks anyone for your help.

i have a cat that is about 5 months old and she pukes up her food and it is usually still whole. then she eats it. but she isnt sick and doesnt show signs of being sick. called the vet and he said that sometimes cats just puke to puke. what do you all think? any ways to maybe get her to stop?
