my cat will watch birds out the window and make the weirdest noise, like he vibrates his cheeks to make a flapping sort of noise, I don't know but it'd really odd.

he also likes to jump on the computer dest and watch me move the mouse on the screen

he sleeps holding his head up, and only likes to be rubbed when we get out of the shower, too.

My kitty has many weird habits :) He's very obsessed with water. If I don't close the bathroom door all the way so that it latches, he will push his way in if he hears any kind of water running. He loves to lick the water from my toes after I get out of the shower. He also does this funny little dance before he drinks water...He moves his paws back and forth on the ground...As if pawing at it :) If you interrupt him while he's doing it, he'll have to start over in order to drink more water. You'd have to see it :)

Well were should I start I have six cats and they are all unique in their own weird way well, Lb(Lil' Bud) Gives me kisses and won't go to bed until he gets his belly rub and he also can't stand it if I'm giving some other cat attention. And Foo will charge at the window because of the glare from the televison, Angel Monkey will follow me around everywhere I go (Like now lying on my lap) because she thinks I'm her mom she was 1 week old when I got her and she doesn't remember having a mom, Princess hates everybody she will day dream out the window and try and get the birds and she'll try to claw through the fishtank glass to catch a fish and yes she does make a weird noise, And Minnie meows at everything, Touch her she meows, Feed her she meows, Leave she meows, Anything. And last but not least Jay Jay he gives everybody HUGS AND KISSES when family comes in he'll run up to them wrap his little arms around their necks and then he'll kiss em its so cute anyways BYE!

my cat whiskey, used to do this everynight, she was a real weirdo. evernight at about 2:30 am she would walk up the stairs and sit on the landing making the weirdest meow. it was like a trilling MAOOO noise. she was spayed as a kitten, never breed or had kittens. then for good measure she would throw in a few mep meop meowp noises, kinda short and chirpy like. she wasn't alone, have no idea what she was doing. it was best when i had friends over, the sound would wake them usually a little freaked out, i just joked and said she was calling the mothership, it'll be here soon to pick us up. it stuck and every night there after we just laughed at our et kitty trying to phone home.

I've seen quite a few people make comments about their cats doing the same thing. We call it meeping. Their natural instinct is to hunt and when they see the birds or small creatures they want to go get it. Meeping is their way of expressing their desire to go after the bird, mouse, etc.

My smallest kitty likes to find little trinkets laying around, like a tack or guitar pick and hide it in our shoes. And another one of mine likes to watch TV and watch the mouse on the computer. They all have different personalities.

My cat talks to me like she thinks she's human. After having her baby (she only had one), everytime I left the room she would call out to me and when I didn't respond she would grab her baby and set her near me and meow. But it was little chirpy short meows like she was trying to form words. At first I thought it was cute then it occured to me she really was trying to communicate with me. The baby hadn't eaten and she hadn't stimulated the baby to go potty. I soon realized my kitty was telling me she didn't know what to do (her first and only litter of one).
The kitten is 2 months old now and goofy as can be. She attacks imaginary bad guys and doesn't acknowledge real targets like string, laser pointers, etc. She bounces when she walks and suddenly stops and moves sideways for no reason. She spooks really easily too. I love my kitties for all the great entertainment in my home.

The wierdest thing my 8 month old kitten does, is she makes these bird noises. They actually really sound like a bird. She also plays with the water in the water dish. Like she will put her paw in and then lick from her paw. It is like she wants it to taste like her or something.

I have a cat that does the same things as yours. It must be an instinct. I addition to that, he sleeps leaning against a wall, sleeps stretched out with his chest against a stair. He also likes the little pull tabs from gallon milk jugs. I throw one, he chases it and brings it back to me and drops it at my feet waiting for me to throw it again. He also barks like a dog. He is a strange animal but very entertaining. Just enjoy the goofiness!!

My cat likes me to turn the shower on and let him take a shower and he actually gets under the water (not on at full pressure) and gets himself wet, he has to have the curtain closed for privacy and comes out and shakes off and then drips dry. Very strange cat!

My cat has to have his nose pushed into the food dish or he won't eat.

He will sit and watch me put the food out.. then just look at me and howl until I stick his nose in the dish.

I recieved my current pair of cats when they were appx 3 weeks old. (there mom was run over by a car) Had to bottle feed them for over 3 weeks. Neither one will continue eating if I am out of sight.

Both my cats drink out of the toilet! One used to rip wallpaper off the walls and chew electrical cords. The other would sit in the middle of the road and "play chicken" with the cars. Both really are lucky to be alive
