A pregnant cat about to deliver isn't interested in food, around the time of labor they loose their appetite and even stop drinking water, she's probably isn't ready to deliver just yet, having to eat for two, three, four,or more makes you very hungry. The gestation period for a cat is 9 weeks.

It doesn't mean anything, just that she is a hungry cat. My friend's cat ate a lot day's before she had the kits. So don't worry.

Well the car should eat alot because without all that stored energy it won't be able to create milk or recover from giving birth. So just let her eat.

She's hungry. Babies are taking alot out of her. They feed inside her belly. Wait till after she has them, and she is nursing you won't be able to keep enough food down.
