ok, so i love my cat but her fur is kinda plain compared to my other cat. I really want to do this(or somewhat similar) to my cat. Does anybody have any ideas how? And also do you think my cat could be harmed by this? And do you think it's cruel because I've heard of people doing stuff like this to their animals before, but if u think its cruel then i dont want to hurt her. Here's a few pics so you know what I'm talking about:

my mom and i found a stray kitten we think it's male and have fondly named it yukiko (japanese name meaning snow baby) it has obviously never been around people but we have him safe in the garage and i put a crate for him and we are feeding him we also made a litter box for him. we want to get him cheaked out by a vet but he gets VERY upset if we come near. How can we get him to trust us we would relly like to keep him and i'm worried he may relly need vet care. also we have a very old (20 yrs) female cat is it a bad idea to try and keep this kitten? I relly need help to calm this wild kitten, thank you so much for youre time

Help! My cat Oreo was stollen right out of my front yard! I put up signs and gave out fliers but nothing. I also gave out pictures and posters to the local animal shelters and humane societies just in case someone carried him there! Is there any other way of finding him or anything else I can do?

Cuddles was a stray. No one even knows how old he is. Yesterday he spent most of his day in the litter box but didn't produce anything. In the afternoon he wanted to go outside. We couldn't find him last night which is rare. Late this morning we found him laying under the rose bushes. We brought him in. He is lethargic, he isn't eating or drinking, and he isn't producing any urine or feces. He is also in some pain on his back half when he moves certain ways. Does anyone have any ideas? We don't have a lot of money to spend at the vets and if this is something terminal then we will just spend alot of time with him. He seems okay if he just lays there in his box. We sure miss his purr though.

My sisters fiance is constantly mean to our cat. He isn't down right cruel to the cat, because I wouldn't allow it. A few minutes ago he was shaking the cat, and my mom said that it was bad for that cat, that it would scramble the cats brains. I was wondering if this is true, because my sisters fiance says it isn't, but my mom says it is. Just wondering, thanks.

My cat just had kittens over a week ago. their eyes just opened up. The mom cat is very affectionate and loving, but one of her kittens keep hissing when I pick it up. We havent handled this litter very much, in fact ive stayed away from them until just recently because the last litter died suddenly and we dont know why, so we are trying to be extra careful with this one. The last litter did not act this way so im concerned that they are going to continue this behavior and make awful pets. Is this normal??? Any tips on how to stop it of is this a taste of things yet to come??

I was considering adopting a kitten now that I live in my own condo. It's a small place with carpet. I was wondering what a kitten would do to my home in terms of shedding and odor. Will I notice a new odor to my home, and will there be loose hairs everywhere? I am looking at domestic short-haired kittens.

Magic has been declawed and fixed. She is five years old And lived by herself with an older man that fed her. Never been out but I have had her now since Christmas and the biting is unbelievable
When you walk by her she attacks your feet. Than she comes and rolls over in front of you like she wants you to pet her BUT if you do she will BITE you very hard. Now when I talk to her she swishes her tail. If you go near her she swishes her tail. If I take her back to the humane sociey I believe they will have to put her to sleep. Is she this way because of being declawed? Please help.

20 mins of their life is gone playing with it.

However, if I spend 20 mins choosing a toy for them, they ignore it, and hence my life is shorter!!

I think they know this.

Why do I still smile when they play with the paper?

my neighbor moved away & left her 6-7 year old cat behind, who happened to be pregnant....... she had 5 babies on Valentine's Day, which is unusual for her, she usually has only 2 or 3...... i have a few questions about the kittens.........

1.) do kittens usually pant? they're not hot, I checked them, & they are nursing frequently, & the mother has plenty of milk, I checked that also...... any insight would be helpful

2.) how do I tell if the mother is "pooping" them, they look bloated sometimes, but I think it may be from eating alot..... I tried to "poop" them with a warm baby wipe, but only pee..... I may be just paranoid, but I know it can kill them if the don't poop, especially the first "plug" after birth, but they are not always bloated.... please give advice

3.) is there anything I can give mommy kitty to eat that may make her milk more nutritious & maybe give her a boost (I am only feeding her cat food right now, just regular, no special diet or anything)

thanks

He only does this when I first change the litter. Is he senile?

I don't know, maybe it's because he's growing up and about to be in heat soon, or maybe he's just being silly. It's like whenever he finds a wrapper or a string, he grabs it with his mouth and walks around with it, then growls at it, plays with it, and hisses at it. Weirdo, lol. He's also doing the same to this one particular comforter I have. He'll bite and drag the blanket, play with it, hisses and growls at it. Why does he do this and did anyone ever had the same situation?

Why??

I personally dont see the point in it. There are ways to fix behavioural issues in cats without having to result in declawing. I have never heard of it until i came to yahoo answers!!

To me its stupid
