i always found that a mothball or two in the couch kepts my cat away

Park a German Shepherd on the couch, that will keep it away.

Actually, most pet stores have a spray that will work without stinking up the whole house.

At least you inferior humans won't smell, it but the cat will.

ammonia gives out powerful funes and cat urine contains ammonia... putting ammonia on your couch will actually ENCOURAGE your cat to pee on it! Are you nuts?

well you could but i promise that the smell would be worse than the cat there are some products in pet stores that work for that without the scent
