So, my mom brought home a cat a while back and now she's pregnant....really pregnant. She's giant...no joke. So, I want to know how soon to be expecting widdle kittens. I can see the babies moving inside her(no touching, she won't allow it). Any help would be appreciated. ^___^ Thanks in advance.

Really close - compared to other aniamls, cats are always really close when they're pregnant, as they're only pregnant for about 2 months;) Without being about to touch her, it's tough to see some of the other signs. She may have a discharge up to 24 hours before giving birth, and her milk will come in and be white within a week of giving birth (of course these both depend on the individual cat).

Very close! You might want to take her to the vet just to make sure she is healthy and so that if there are any problems during birth you would have someone to contact that knows her history.

Also, you need to switch her(slowly) to a high quality kitten food like sciense diet, nutro, ect... because once she starts nursing she will need all the fat and protein content she can get for her to stay healthy and to produce all the milk that will be needed.

sound like she is pretty close. they only gestate for about 9 weeks. just make her a box with sides that is easy to get in and out of (for her but not for the babies) in a private low traffic area. put a nice blanket inside and let her be. she wont need any help. can i have a kitten? i love my kitties. make sure she has water and food nearby.

You can see babies moving in her womb!!!!!! ..... my gosh .... how close are you.
Kidding .... they are alive of course you will see them moving. Just like a pregnant woman having kicks and elbows shoved under her ribs.
You will probably notice that your cat will keep moving around in circles trying to get confortable and possibly trying to find a dark place to go to. Keep your eye out for her.

it's almost that time for baby kitten's get her laundry basket or box ready and some old towels to catch the blood and afterbirth...after that cleaned up put a clean sheet on a old pillow 'so she can have a lift to nurse baby;s ,,,,good luck and you are so lucky they will be little angels in your eyes,,,ps give mama cat some kitty chow dry food as she will need extra vitamins and things for her milk for babies,,,

very close, she's probably been poking around in dark/hidden places looking for a place to have them right?
