Instead of actually going to a vet u can call them. BUT we use get cats from a local barn and they always had feline leukimia so we had to put them down, then we just stopped getting them fromt he farm. But they had runny noses and stuff which brought us to the vet, and they said feline leukimia is very contagious to other pets and even if u do put the cat down the germ can still stay in your house and transfer to other pets that u get. Or of course it could just be a cold or allergies or something. So i would call the vet or look on the internet and list off the symptoms and see what happens. Or u could just go to a petco or something and ask someone what they would recomend!
Any ??? u can contact me at

It looks like the kitty has upper respiratory infection. It will need antibiotics and the only way you can get them is through a vet. If you leave it in the hopes that the cat will heal itself, the infection can get worse and the kitten becuase it is a kitten will go downhill fast and die. Best take it to the vet for the proper medications. It souldn't cost you much at all - just the vet visit and the cost of the antibiotics.

In short- NO! I would bop him over to the vet. The vet will give him a couple of small injection and a three day course of antibiotics.
This will clear his cold and you will see a nice little kitty in a week to ten days time. A minor cold can run even a well fed healthy cat into cat flu. Cat flu will kill 2/10 cats within just a couple of weeks.
Please do let me know what you decide, and how you get on!
I hope your pu55y looks better soon!

well i am not a cat excpert but with things like that it seems like a common cold or worse if you dont want it to get worse i recommend a vet because i took care of an outdoor cat for about 1 week and then it started throwing up and sneezing but i went to the vet and it ended up she had some cancer that caused death and there was no cure so it died a month later.......... so its important to see a vet

The #1 thing to do is take the little kitten to the vet. He is probably underweight and will need special food, and there is medicine that can help with the runny nose/eye gunk. Good luck with the kitten. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LET IT OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!

sounds like ur new pussy friend need antibiotics and eye drops. If you don´t want to take the little guy to the vets because of the bill. Why dont you drop him into a rescue centre. He´s not well and needs help.
I have 2 fat healthy cats now but they sufferd the same symptoms that urs are (when they were ferral kittens) I took them to the vets then home, now there great but sadly there 3 bros and sis´s died.
If you dont want to fix him, please find someone who will.

I can tell you right now the cat has an upper respiratory infection combined with conjunctivitis (goopy eyes). He is going to die without treatment. You can't wait. Take him right away to a shelter and they can fix him up, neuter him (when he's old enough), test him for disease, vaccinate him and hopefully find him a happy home.

It would be best to see a vet. As the cat has been living on the street, there's no telling what he's been exposed to. The vet can tell you exactly what to do.
