I don't know, maybe it's because he's growing up and about to be in heat soon, or maybe he's just being silly. It's like whenever he finds a wrapper or a string, he grabs it with his mouth and walks around with it, then growls at it, plays with it, and hisses at it. Weirdo, lol. He's also doing the same to this one particular comforter I have. He'll bite and drag the blanket, play with it, hisses and growls at it. Why does he do this and did anyone ever had the same situation?

I didn't mean getting in heat, I meant like sexually maturing, but I don't know. It is cute when he does that to a simple string or a candy wrapper. He just plays with it innocently, then grabs it and growls while it's still in his mouth and he just hisses at it. He doesn't hiss at anyone if they take it off of his mouth, he just goes to a corner or something and out of nowhere I would hear him hiss at something. I thought it was something suspicious, but it was so simple as to a piece of paper like if the paper were to attack him. LOL yeah he is kinda weird.

The cat is playing. I have three kittens and they all run to me when i shake a container, because cats like shaking noises. And when i finish a bottle of water they play with the lid, same as with a straw. The cat is bored and is trying to have fun. Play with a shoelace and you and the kitten will have fun.

He's just playing a bit, having some fun. Maybe you need to give him more attention. And males don't go into heat by the way, it's just the females.

Duhh. Hes a kitten and just playing it has nothing to do with going in heat. And also if the kitten is a boy because u keep calling it he then he wont go in heat becasue he is a male.

He is just playing while using some of his natural instincts that would go along with hunting if he was in the wild. Have you aver seen a cat that has just caught a bird/mouse/lizard? They sometimes behave like that with real animals, and enjoy playing with them before they eat them! For eg. my cats like to pick up meat from their bowl with their claw occasionally because (so I read somewhere) they like to feel like they have caught it themselves.

First of all, if it's a "he" cat then it won't be going into heat, because only females do that. I think what he is doing is just plain kitten/cat playfulness. My cat even did similar things at 14.

Cats can actually smell human.... you know.... odors and a male cat can act on instict by biting the comforter as if he's mating it. Or maybe he's just a freak?!

He's just a playful kitten having fun. Isn't it great they can amuse their selves and us at the same time?

cats do that not because they are in heat but because they need something to mess with...another cat would probably fix this situation
