I spilled some Gingeraile on my night stand and then I saw the cat licking it. I had no idea cats like soda. Is this dangerous for the cat?

I wouldn't keep giving the cat soda, but It probably didn't hurt it.... just make sure you have plenty of fresh, clean water down. It's good to change the water often, even if it isn't empty

I would say a few licks won't hurt a cat, they are curious animals. But, don't let your cat drink alot of soda, they are however, pretty good about knowing when to stop.

cats like just about anything but, soda isn't very good for them, and chocolate even though they like it, don't give your cat any. a little soda shouldn't kill, but don't feed her any more human food

That tiny amount won't hurt your cat, but generally carbonated drinks aren't good for your pets.

I don't think this will harm your cat, but definitly don't give it to them again.

My cat loves popsicles and will go to any length to get a lick
