Well, at the moment I find that my tummy is nearly always rumbling. I'm eating lots of food, and i'm not usually hungry. So, why does it rumble??? It's really embarrassing, and keeps happens in lessons at school when its silent. What can I do to prevent it, and is there any way to stop it when its happening? Thanks

But the fact is I've been tallying up how many calories I do eat in a day and I can never get it over 900! I should be eating 1400 a day according to my BMR, but I'm just not hungry. I know water doesn't have any calories, and teas have about 2 (I don't like milky or sugary teas); but I get sick of hot chocolates after a while....

Breakfast - 130 (cereal)
Lunch - 200 (sandwich with quorn filling)
Snacks - 155 (frozen berries and an apple)
Dinner - around 2-300 (peas, quorn fillet or cauliflower and potatoes)

Is this okay?

to a very thin-waisted, and athletic looking 185 lbs? That is of course if he cut calories, monitored his diet to eat nutricious, balanced meals, performed 30 minutes of cardio on a tread mill 5 days a week, and lifted light weights/with high reps on 3 of those days. About how long would it take for this 43 year old male with a large frame to achieve such a goal, again, realistically? It should be noted he is 6' 1", has a thick bone structure and a large muscular frame, albeit covered in outer layers of fat. Any other recommendations about diet/exercise for my Uncle Des?

Hi Everyone.
I have been taking a Cardio/Kickboxing class and tomorrow we are gonna run a 1.5 or 3 mile run. What should i eat to maximize my energy. We did this run at the beginning of the semester and I want to 'hopefully' better my time. Our workouts have been progressing in intesity since the start. But I seem to get a little tired with running, not so much with the cardio. Thanks for all your help!

i was anorexic, and am recovering, so gaining weight, but it's all going onto my middle. i'm not overeating, although quite a lot compared to what i used to, but i eat 1200 - 1500 calories with quite a lot of exercise. i'm 100lbs and 5'6, aiming to gain another 5lbs, but i've gained so much on my middle, my body is storing every single calorie i'm consuming, when will it stop this and distribute my weight? because i've been recovering for a month and its not changing, i look permanentely bloated and out of proportion. it's hard to fit clothes because my waist can fit a uk 6 (us 0) but i could almost fit both my legs in one of the trouser legs. i look stupid with a fat belly and stick arms and legs, i'm fed up of it!

I need to drop about 40-50 pounds. I have never really dieted seriously or ever had an exercise program. How do I find the motivation to get started and to continue once I get going? Where do you all get your motivation?

Ok, so I was in the weight room today at my school, and a friend of mine who never lifts, and claims he doesn't like to lift could curl more than me. We was doing curls, we was seein who could curl the most.. he could do the 55 pounds in each hand 3 times, I could only do it once. Im a little meaty, kinda built like a football player, with muscle.. anyways.. I work out monday wensday and friday, I do curls, hammer girls, and then the wrist squeezing things.. I plan on doing alot more soon, for chest etc.. anyways, how come he can lift more than me if he never works out... and I do? It's been bothering me all day... are some people just naturally more strong?

I've heard somewhere that taking powder protein suppliment could damage liver (or other parts of body?). With the liver, meaning, that the liver has to work "overtime", therefore could be harmful in the long run? Please help, because I am into drinking my whey protein powder drinks to help maintain and build muscle since I work out. Thanks!!

The alternatives can be so expensive that it would be great to know if some of the substitutes taste better than others.

I've been taking ctyomel, increasing my dosage every 4 days. I am now at 100 mg. I don't feel anything at all. I did a clenbuterol cycle, and I could actually feel my body heat up.

Cytomel is supposed to increase your thyroid function, but how do you know if it's actually working or not?

I drink about 8 glasses of water, watch my calorie and fat intake (approx. 1300 calories per day) and doing 1/2 hour of low-impact cardio at least 5 times a week. Still, after weeks of this, I've only lost 2 1/2 pounds. I need to lose 50 according to my doctor. What am I doing wrong?

I know I have to lower body fat. I eat 5-6 small meals a day. I do 3 days of strength training and 3 days of 20 min cardio workouts. I also do ab workouts on the 3 days of strength training and 8 minute abs (youtube) on my cardio days. What can I do to eliminate my obliques/love handles and reveal my abs? Any info would help. I've went from 211 to 197 in the past 8 weeks.
