does anyone else eat when they're bored?

how to you keep from doing it?

I eat when I'm bored...though I usually eat good foods like grapes, bananas, apples with peanut butter or baby carrots.

To prevent yourself from doing it, examine they why and the when. Why are you eating out of boredom? Are you feeling depressed? Lonely? When does it most happen? At work? When you're watching TV?
You don't have to figure out the questions in a certain order. Usually when you figure out one you can easily figure out the other. If you eat a lot when you watch television, stop watching it so much. Get out and do something - go on a walk or go to the library...do some household chores. If you're at work, find something to do. Return phone calls, go to the mail room, talk to some co-workers.
Just change your patterns and it should be simple to kick the habit!

i do not have that difficulty... yet I do want to devour after a pair of hours without eating, even if if i'm no longer hungry. eating a good number of water, or tea, or espresso... or having some chewing gum or some thing like that many times facilitates.

Yes, not a healthy habit though. Best to keep busy doing something other than eating.

OMG! Yes, I do. Once I get through with eating all the good stuff I start to eat the junk food. I think it's all about will power.
