the ONLY thing that speeds metabolic rate is exercise. and it only speeds metabolism during exercise.

By lifting weights three times a week and doing at least 30 min. of cardio 5 days a week. Eat breakfast everyday.

eat less, drink more water, plenty of exercise. running is a good exercise for me because i feel lighter in the long run and i can move more. hope this helps
