Well, at the moment I find that my tummy is nearly always rumbling. I'm eating lots of food, and i'm not usually hungry. So, why does it rumble??? It's really embarrassing, and keeps happens in lessons at school when its silent. What can I do to prevent it, and is there any way to stop it when its happening? Thanks

There has been a lot of books written on this topic, mainly the A.A. Milne series, Winnie the Pooh. He always has a rumbly in his tumbly.

On a more serious note, when your tummy is rumbling, I have heard that it is shrinking due to not eating. You need to eat every couple of hours to avoid this. Also, avoid eating large meals and going a long time afterward without eating, this is why your stomach is contracting.

I agree with Juan. Also, if you have increased your fiber intake recently, it takes your body about a month to get used to it. During that time it can be unpleasant, but will go away.
