I've heard somewhere that taking powder protein suppliment could damage liver (or other parts of body?). With the liver, meaning, that the liver has to work "overtime", therefore could be harmful in the long run? Please help, because I am into drinking my whey protein powder drinks to help maintain and build muscle since I work out. Thanks!!

NO IT DOESN'T AFFECT YOUR LIVER, IT WILL AFFECT IT ONLY IF YOU ALREADY HAVE LIVER PROBLEMS, BUT IT WILL NOT BE THE CAUSE OF ANY DAMAGE TO ANY ORGARNS, IF ANYBODY SAYS DIFFERENT, TELL THEM TO SHOW YOU THE RESEARCH. I'VE TAKEN PROTEIN FOR 25 YEARS OF MY LIFE AND HAD NO LIVER PROBLEMS, ALONG WITH MANY PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDERS THAT HAVE BEEN TAKING PROTEIN FOR YEARS WITH NO DAMAGE TO ANY ORGANS

1. safe meaning it will cause no bodily harm? If so than no, every protein supplement can cause internal harm if you use them carelessly. Follow the instructions.. 2. you lose muscle if you suddenly stop taking proteins and stop exercising as a whole. or you continue to take protein but fail to exercise, proteins are amino acids, if you consume it you need to do some straneous physical task (lifting, running, stretching, warming up,etc.) 3. there are several, but none of them are periless, just follow their instructions and ask an adult who specializes in physical training or a PE coach.

ya dear what u have known is true !

whey protein contains catabolic steroides ..these r steroides that cataboilc energy rich substances so that u can give out more performance ....for this it takes help of liver so taht do meet the growing demand liver havs to function more abt 3 to 4 times more then it dose normaly ....actualy blood has fo circulate 4 times more through hepatic (liver )circulation, then normal

moreover the steroids have property of hydophylic so that they will attract water molecules like magnet dose to iron ...thus in muscles the steroids pull more water & thic give more bulk to the muscle ...remember it not the bulk due to muscle tissue its due to the action of steriods...

see if u want to increase mucle mass eat proyine wich diet like soya beans.... milk .... & work out in a certain manner like alternate days satrt with 20-30 min. warm up & at end do cool down to relax u r body so that u r muscle recives enough blood to supply nutritiens & wash away lactic acid ......work in certai n way am sure u r muscle bulk will improve ...keep high wt & low repetion, then followed by ow wt & hing repetaion

body will never acept artificial energy giving stuff it will react to it after long duration ..... natural is natural if after all natural.

protein regardless of the source does not harm the "healthy" liver. there is not one single medical study that states such.
