Not eating processed foods. Eating whole grains like brown rice, wheat, spelt, fresh veggies, fresh fruit. Organic is better also. Staying away from refined sugars found in commercial brand snacks like twinkies for example. The less indgredients on the label, the better.

Eating live cell foods instead of the dead cell foods.
Like juicing .......that's live foods.
Sugar, salt, commercial flours,.....most of the foods you find after you leave the produce dept. are indeed dead foods.
Fact: if you take and cut the end of a carrot off put it in a saucer with water and leave it in the window it will indeed start to grow.
on the other hand you can cook it any way that you want for a min., or two and it will rot.

It depends on who you are talking to. Some people say it means not eating preserved foods. Other people say eating foods which are highest in nutrient content. Some people say its eating foods in their most natural state. raw meat, raw vegetables raw butter... BLECH!!!
For some people it means eating organic. Or without salt pepper or spices.

eating clean means consuming whole foods. foods that are all natural and not man made. basically with the exception of dried seeds and nuts these would be perishable foods
