Everyday I go to the gym to have an ENJOYABLE round of boxing and rock climbing, and I see the same people running and doing the most boring things...then I come on here and see people going crazy because of their image to a point where they are stuck on their computers...making their health problems even worse. What kind of life are these people living? I don't want my future children to be raised in a world that places so much emphasis on image and such little on intellectualism..I mean, it is disgusting what we are placing value upon in recent decades..What do you guys think could be done?

So i've lost 13 (28.6 lbs) kilograms in 2 1/2 months. i've gone from 67kgs (147.4 lbs) to 54kgs (118.8 lbs). do you think this is unhealthy or OK?
im just so sick of people saying how worried they are because i lost it all. i especially love (hate) mum and dad frequently and forlornly telling me "you got thin". well, duh.
i think it's just the case that noone is used to me being this weight before because i've always had that little extra baggage. yeh i look much slimmer but im not like movie star thin

when do girls lose their baby fat. My bestfriend is so skinny and tall but I'm just short and fat. What age do girls get growth spurts. Its really depressing looking the way I do and my mum doesn't help very much neither does my bestfriend. Please help.

f i eat about 2300 calories a day, and cut down to 1000 a day is it true i will lose weight?

i figure i eat about 16,100/cals week currently, and if i cut to 1000 it would be 7000/cals a week. that makes a deficiency of 9,100 calories. divided by 3,500 this is 2.6

would i really lose 2.6 lbs a week by doing this? without exercise?

(i exercise a lot, so i'm just wondering if eating less will really change my weight that uch)

How can a girl work out, without actually gaining a ton of muscle. I like doing a bunch of crunches and stuff for my stomach, but I don't want abs! I just don't want to get fat, haha. Lately, I'll work out for a few months, feel too muscular, and then have to stop for a few months. Is there a way to stay fit, and not gain muscle?!

i love to eat. i eat a lot. i like eating, even when im not supposed to. thats why im 136 lbs and just 5'3. with discipline, i was able to go down from 150 back then to 125 a few months ago. but im gaining it back. i love white rice unfortunately. i know ill have to take it off. i think whats wrong is my head. i like to eat. but i hate the effects. argh! moderation? is it? i need help with this...

Say someone eats 2000 calories a day, how many calories is it ok to have stuff like chocolate, sweets, empty calories, junk food? The rest of the calories being nutritional foods.

im 16, 5'7 140 lbs. I work out using light weights, i drink alot of water, but I also eat quite a bit of big foots ( spaghetti, soup, and fish in like 1 day, is that bad?) I dont know if thats bad to eat all in 1 day, sometimes I eat 3 bagels in one day with cream cheese. Is this bad? I mean it feels like im eating less but my body hasnt really changed from working out. Can anyone give me a list of what foods, how many cups of water, vegetables...fruits, vitamin water works?, I use 20 lbs dumbells what reps/sets should I do for a definition? I am really willing to sacrifice alot. Can anyone start me out, what I should do to burn body fat, become more defined, and become a stronger human in general (Physical wise) but note im only 16 so my body is not done growing and I dont want to mess it up. help plz?

There's this restaurant down the road that I love, called the Texas Roadhouse. Delicious food. Anyway, I'm going there tonight and would just like to know how unhealthy this meal I usually get is:

-Half rack of baby back ribs
-Large piece of barbecue chicken
-Wild rice
-Cup of chili
-2-3 sweet rolls with cinnamon butter dip
-Iced tea to wash it all down

I think it's pretty unhealthy, mostly because of the sodium level...and maybe a little high in saturated fat and cholesterol...but not too, too bad. I only go there on days I go to the gym and do some heavy lifting (West Side 4 Skinny Bastards routine), so all of that protein comes in handy for building my muscle up.

Whatta ya think?
