Well, I do this powerlifting program that is meant to get you strong in a short period of time. I've been doing it for quite a while now and I've noticed some fabulous gains! My raw squat has increased for 50 pounds, my raw bench increased by 30 pounds, and I'm really happy with it. However, I do understand the risks involved in too much maxing. It could hurt my knees or tear my pecs but...

Do you have any alternative routine that is a little safer but still fairly effective?

I live practically in the middle of no-where on a property (of course) and I want to get fitter and stronger, concentrating on the strenght aspect.

The town doesn't have a gym, it's a hole really (geez, I'm typing this at a friends place, sad eh?). All I have is a pushie and an *unlimited* amount of space to ride on, but is this enough to get me stronger and get some fitness about me?

I'm in a bit of a pickle. Some help please guys?

:) thanks!

So I have been working out non stop and I am trying to find a healthy way to support my muscle growth. I have looked into creatine, amino acids, proteins. I'm new to the "enhancement" thing and I don't want to take anything that is going to hurt me or cause "shrinkage" of other male parts. As I said, I'm new and I've heard stories. So a natural way to gain muscle mass and support growth of athletic ability. Anyone got any ideas.

So, whats with that? Are they their own personal trainer, or do like a few of um just team up and train each other, like some kind of weird back scratcher line.

when I started taking centrum multivitamin, I get really hungry and have to eat a lot more carbohydrate. If I don't eat enougn carb. I sweat a lot more when I play tennis, much more than usual. Once I stopped, the hungry feeling goes away and I can eat less carbo, and I sweat a lot less. Anyone have the same symptom with multivitamin?

Some people believe that some excersizes can effect and stop growing such as growing taller. I have heard that from a doctor too but is that real ?

I do basketball and buddybuilding at the same time. I'm 6'3'' and I'm 17

I can't move it. It's like it cramps for a a couple of minutes. I think I'm doing it right. Could it just be that I haven't developed those muscles.

The exercise is that I stand up suck my stomach in and pull my hips or butt or whatever under. Also does it when I do the tummy shimmy. It does not occur while doing it but when I stop and sit and lay down afterwards.

I've been going to the gym for a solid year now, averaging close 4 days a week.

I missed two weeks recently and was stunned to witness the strength I had lost. I had to go down at least 5 pounds for each muscle group.

How long do you think it will take for me to get back to where I was. I plan on hitting the gym again 4 days a week, 2 days for each muscle group on and off.

So I just started a routine of working out 3 times a week. In the beginning I would feel sore the day after working out, but now I feel like I can lift the day following a workout. I do not feel sore at all. Does this mean I am not working out properly? Will I gain
muscle mass, or am I not pushing myself hard enough?
Thanks

Every morning at around 6 am, my sister wakes up and does 150 crunches without stopping. After 150 crunches she jogs for 5 minutes, and continues this process until she has done 1000 crunches. How many calories do you think she is burning by just doing the crunches?
