it was only water weight, no reason to be concerned. the weight will return when you resume normal eating habits.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

I think it depends on how overweight you are. If you are pretty obese, it is probably okay to lose that much. It's easier to keep it off if you lose 1-2 lbs a week, though.

If you're eating healthy foods and vitamins, and making sure you're getting the proper nutrition, you are probably okay. But, if you are small and just trying to not eat to lose weight, your metabolism is going to slow down and you aren't going to be able to burn future calories as fast.

You can safely only lose 1-2lbs per week unless you're morbidly obese. Losing more causes you to lose muscle mass and/or bone density. You want to make sure to remember that its more important about how you think you look than what numbers are on the scale.

That weight will not stay off for long. 1-2lbs a week is the normal rate.

You shouldnt starve yourself, if you want to lose weight and keep the weight off, then do it the right way with healthy eating and exercise.
