I heard that the brain uses the most calories but is that honestly true? I've tried looking myself but couldnt find anything so I'm hoping that maybe someone could tell me pls?

no chiken skin, no frying on oil, so how can i cook it? i miss eating chicken.. i have been eating fish so i can lose weight by putting it on oven so i wont fry it but i wanna know how can i cook lean meat but still not gain weight?

I recently graduated from college, so that has been a major change. I went from campus to an office. I also went from approx 135 lb. to 159 lb. I don't eat that much, maybe 1250-1500 calories a day (I ate ALOT more than that when I was in school- so I'm not sure why eating less has made me gain so much weight) I am going to try to start running 3-4 times per week. Does anyone have any further advice? Also, does anyone have any advice for staying with a workout regimine? I do like running, but I've never been much into exercise, so having to do extra work to get back to an average weight is kind of upsetting.

I realize bc Im tall (5'9'') i have to weigh more..the day i see 120 pounds is the day i've been dead for 6 months. It really bothers me tho. Does anyone else feel this way? Or do all u tall girls just weigh nothing as well?

ok i'm 18 yrs old,5'll ,200 lbs. i've loss a lot of weight since middle school. now i'm pretty built just alot of fat in the mid-section and thighs. how do i get rid of this because it's really irratating. i see my upper abs but lower abs is all fat and loose. plz help on how to get rid of this. i go to the gym everyday and burn about 300-600 calories and i only eat dinner. im not hungary in the morning or afternoon. so plz help on what i can do. thanks.

Ok, I'm far from fat, but I do have quite a gut on my stomach. It looks very unattractive, especially if you look at me from the side. It's only noticeable when Im shirtless, but it looks ugly. I want to get rid of the weight on my upper body and firm up. Cuz when ur belly sticks out more than ur chest, its quite unattractive. What's the best way to get rid of the stomach/upper body weight?

Okay, so I've been getting alot of mixed messages from people on weight lately, I'm fine the way I am, gain weight, lose weight, etc. And I want an opinion from some people who won't judge me and won't let their prior thoughts of me effect that.

Hello all, I weigh 280 lbs and im 6 foot 4 inches. I want to lose 80 lbs over the next 2 years (so im 190-200 when i graduate college). As far as dieting goes how should i figure out how many calories to eat per day and in what food groups. Other then jogging/running what other exercises should i do to help lose weight. On average. How many calories should i be burning per day and how do i calculate that. My goal is to be able to go on vacation once i graduate to a beach and feel good taking my shirt off and swimming and not feel like the entire world is watching me. Also would drinking water only help with this or should i drink other things as well (im a big coke fan and a smoker and am quiting both those tonight)

I work on a warship. Breakfast is from 6 am to 7 am. A lot of the time I oversleep and wake up after 7. I can't eat afterwards because I have to work. Is there a good supplement to take to make up for it? i.e. centrum, etc.

I have been working out now for about 2 months. I started out with the atkins diet and dropped 30lbs. I then plateaued and began working out. Cardio in the morning and at night 30 to 45
minutes each. I lift weights twice a week spliting each muslce segment by 2 days. I have began taking whey shakes after workouts but just some cheap stuff i got from wal-mart. I am reading all these fitness magazines and looking at using some of the more preimum products out there. But witch ones
do I use? When i wake up, before meals, before workouts, after workouts, before bed? I am lost need help

Whats a normal weight range in people?. Is there a site or anything to check?. What if your 17 and your 5'6 or so and you weigh around 135-140 lbs. Does it mean i'm over weight or do i need to eat or do things differently?
