A couple years ago, I heard in order to get tone, lean muscle you should keep your heartbeat in the "weight loss" section of a cardio machine, because if it's in the cardio part you'll build muscle. But recently I read that it doesn't matter and the more intense the cardio part, the better. Women don't have enough testerone to build muscle if they do weights.

Who is right?

I'm tired of feeling like crap all the time. My stomach feels like it's always burning and I feel tired and sore constantly.

So I've decided to start eating right. First things first, detoxing. But I have a few questions. Some people have been suggesting sun-grown chlorella and quality coriander leaf powder...and something called buckwheat...

What ARE those things and how do you eat them? How much do they cost? Also, I'm lactose intolerant so I'm curious as to how rice milk tastes. And how much it costs. And the detoxing itself. Does it hurt? If you could answer my questions and provide some advice I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks.

flora proactive is a butter which lowers cholesterol and honey is a good source of natural fats and carbs. whole wheat bread is better than white. Is the combination of this three bad? ( fats etc)

I've just started my Christmas holidays which are 2 months.

I'm quite overweight, and I would really like to loose alot of weight and go back to school with a new look.

I'm 20, female,5'2", 100 lbs.

Since June, I have lost 20 pounds. I havn't tried at all!! I know this may seem like the opposite problem young women my age are having, because they all want to lose weight, but I was small before.

I had my tonsils out in July, and I lost about 7 lbs then. I figured I would put the weight back on after a few weeks, but I've just continued to drop and drop and drop.

Alot of my friends and family are really worried that I have an eating disorder, but I don't! I eat three-four square, healthy meals every day and my eating habits havn't changed.

I really can't stand to lose any more weight....please help!!

PS: once this semester ends I am going to go see some doctors, but I was just wondering if there's anything I can do in the meantime to keep me from dropping more.

Like me: 5'1 97 lbs. I'm 21 years old. I should look thin but I have fat thighs, a huge stomach, flabby arms, wide hips, etc etc. Why? Does this mean I can never be thin?

At my college's rec center there are a variety of Yoga classes, but I don't know anything about them or which would be best for increasing flexibility. The classes they have are: Yoga Basics, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga I, PiYo, Hatha Yoga, Flow Yoga, and a few different Pilates classes... and I have no idea what any of those are lol!

I lift weights and exercise regularly but I am terrible when it comes to stretching so I think I should get into one of these classes, what do you think?

Its going to be very large. I want it to have all types of equipment, machines and loose weight. I want to have an indoor track and a swimming pool. I also want there to be a section where you can get a protein shake or creatine before you workout. My head is spinning with ideas, but this is what ive got so far, what do you think?

top of thigh: 22"
mid thigh: 20"

I eat A LOT...when i'm bored, when i'm sleepy, or just because it's there. I have gained about 10 pounds since my school year has started and I am starting to feel self-consious about my body.

What is a good way to tone your body and lose weight at the same time? Like any particular exercises? I am looking to lose weight because I am 5 7 and 175 lbs, and apparently that is overweight. I want to start exercising but I don't have mcuh free time to devot to it (like 40 minutes or so..) and I don't really know how to get started. Any suggestions?

My eating habits are actually pretty good, so I just need to get active.
