what kind of diet-friendly snacks would you recommend when you just feel like grazing? i mean, besides fruits and nuts

and i was just curious, would losing a significant amount of weight change your facial features drastically? like maybe, your cheekbones become more obvious?

i heard the aritifical sweatners arent good for you, does this mean regular coke is better? I know they are all bad but for a coke addict which is the healthist choice?

It's my first day on my diet to gain some weight, I'd like to add at least half a stone within a month or so.

I've had my BMR calculated & my BMR is approx 1439, today I've eaten a total of 2432 Calories (Probably more as I've only counted solid foods & not extras such as butter & drinks), so I've definitely eaten around 1,000 more calories than my body is burning off (I'm above).

I know that I never ate that many calories previously & it is my first day, which has gone well & I've actually enjoyed the challenge & keeping note of my intake, however now I'm feeling kinda bloated & not sure if I can reach the 3500 Calories today (Which i know equals 1lb, so to be 3,500 cal ahead I'd need to eat around 5,000 Cal (approx) per day, however this is for putting on 1lb per day, which I probably don't need to do anyway).

Has it beneifted me today then & have a I done well, I'm still going to try a little extra before I sleep however it is my 1st day & i guess i have to adapt.

i started a diet a few weeks ago now and told myself that i wouldnt feel guilty for eating anything. i started off having plenty of tea to drink and eating a couple of meals of pasta a day and 4 pieces of fruit. i cycled for a few km and did 50 + touch my toes exercises and i lost 2 stones. now im struggling - i now feel guilty for eating the tiniest bit of food and now go the whole day drinking very little and eat only 2 very small bowls of rice krispies with very little milk. i cycle at least 10kms and do 200 + touch my toes along with other exercises. ive started to feel dizzy when standing up and have fell. i weigh myself every day. i lie to people about what ive eaten. i ate some chicken the other night and felt myself wretching to bring it up again. how do i diet properly? how do i stop feeling guilty? i know what im doing is wrong but i cant seem to stop. ive also found myself envying hannah ashworth off hollyoaks so i know that this has to stop before i become anorexic.

i am five feet and almost four inches...waist size: 0-1. and i am 97lbs....
i whent to the doc for a regular check up and he was like "well, your a little hevy for your hight WTF??
have my friends say that im too skinny and now hes saying im a bit hevier than what im suposed to be?
am i going to start being self concious now?

Lets say a Venti White Chocolate Mocca says 420 serving and a Venti is a 20oz cup does this mean that the total amount is 420 or do you times is by 20 ounces(that would be a lot of calories). Am I only having 420 calories with non-fat milk and no whip cream?

you cant take long walks/joggs/bike rides around ur neighboorhood...no exercize..you gain lots of weight cause of the cold...theres nothing to do you just fall asleep untill the snow melts and spring comes.

Ok how do I start... Well first of all I'm male and all of my body seems to be in shape and healthy except my pecks, they just seem to gather up fat and I can't lose it, I know there not man-boobs because if I flex my stomach you can see a trace of a 6pack.. My question is, is there any way to burn this excessive fat of or whats wrong? Is it common?

Can I get anything from the health food store that will help me? I want to lose 10 lbs that I gained along with the bad skin. I will start eating more veggies. I can't exercise because of a bad leg. Something that is not harmful to the body.

Im usually a fairly healthy-eating person. I don't eat a lot of junk food, but once a week, Mom and I share a bag of chips while watching a Movie.

I'm not very active, the most exercise I get is probably 5-10 minutes of exercise on the rowing machine (an exercise machine) once a day.

I'm just wondering... Can I gain weight from eating a bag of lays potato chips with my mom once a week?

I'm working on compiling a 'diet' (though not in the conventional "lose weight get rich" sorta way). Basically, I have three criteria:

a) Utter regularity and simplicity. As few ingredients as possible.
b) Extremely Low Cost, found in most grocery stores. As cheap, and nutritional, as possible.
c) Meets all nutritional requirements. In particular, I will be doing quite a bit of exercise (3hr swimming, 1-2hr taekwondo)

So far, I've got rice. I would include spaghetti, but it seems redundant. What else should I toss onto my simple list?

I've been taught that calories come from 3 places - carbs, protein and fat. However, if you look at the nutritional label on a bottle of vodka - it contains calories, but 0 carbs, 0 protein and 0 fat. So what gives alcohol it's calories?

I've been using a treadmill to run for the past few months, but I've been having these urges to run outside, but I don't live in a very safe neighborhood. So I've just been curious if running on the treadmill has the same affect as other running, like through the neighborhood.

Anyone know?
