most ppl dont get tired of coffee until after they are hyper w/e from it. when u have alot of sugar and caffeine n stuff its like a roller coaster. first, it makes u un-tired and awake, but then after a while it runs its course and ur tired again, infact even tired-er then b4 since u wasted all the more energy. thats y some ppl drink coffee throughout the day

May be all those who perceive to NEED coffee are just mentally weak. So the state of mind after engulfing a cup of joe is simply so the person can mentally go about their daily business.

Didn't you notice that many questions here sound like "What can I eat to lose weight?" Silly, you don't eat to lose weight, you stop eating so much. People like to indulge themselves.
Same with smoking - why people smoke? Many start smoking for social reasons.... just to be kicked out of public places later on. It stinks, it costs a lot of money, doesn't make any sence but people still do it.

It makes you very awake when you consume it, but the buzz wears off after a few hours. I drink it when I need to stay awake for a class and then I zonk out when I get back home.

Of course it's useful!

coffee doesnt really make people tired. it gives them a short high followed by tiredness later on. even if coffee directly made you tired on one occasion (which it may not have), that is a very rare thing to occur.
