For optimal nutritional balance in vegetables, eat them raw or blanch them for 5 minutes in a hot steam.

Any heat added to the vegetables does in fact reduce the minerals and vitamins.

Boil them in a pot for 10 minutes alongside with pasta, and then and (in case you elect) upload onions, perhaps fried with sultanas and pine nuts, and serve with some sparkling olive oil and freshly grated parmesan. consistent with probability boiling isn't the suited thank you to maintain each and every of the nutrition, yet once you attempt consistently to steam them, or eat them uncooked, you would be unwell of the sight of them very immediately. With pasta, that is speedy, ordinary, and scrumptious - it has substitute into one in each and every of my common dishes and that i eat broccoli like this a minimum of a million-2 circumstances each and every week, and that i've got completed so for over twenty years.

Steaming your vegetables, either in the microwave or on the stove, in a steamer. That way you don't lose the water soluble vitamins and minerals into the water, because the vegetables won't be under water.

Hi

I steam my vegetables, but i dont over steam them as you can still steam all the goodness away. Just steam them enough so that they are slightly crunchy!

You can Steam them or the best is to stir fry them. They stay crisp and maintain their nutritional value...not to mention the taste great that way.

There are many healthy fruits and vegetables. Fresh vegetables like broccoli and green spinach contain calcium and are packed with fiber.
