It wont change you facial features drastically. It might make your cheek bones a bit more defined.
Some good snack foods to munch on:
Porkrinds: I cant remember why but I saw it in a Men's Health abs book. Its not nearly as bad as everybody thinks. Just high sodium.
Beef Jerky: See Porkrinds. Watch out for Jerky with too much sugar added like Jack Links or Oberto.
Cereal: There are some pretty high fiber cereals that are tasty to eat by the handful. Even the staples like frosted flakes and rice crispees will do you. Have a small bowl with some skim milk. Stay away from the sugaries completly.
Yoplay light yogurts: They hav some GREAT flavors like key lime and boston cream. The light tastes just like the regular but with hardly any calories and less sugar
Health bars: Some of them are actually pretty good. Grab few different ones and figure out which ones you like. If you know somebody who works with Quixtar, they sell a brand that has som fantasticly tasty flavors.
The important thing is never to over indulge

First of all, yes, losing would would make your facial features stand out more, and that's likely the first area you'll notice it too. As for the dieting part, I'm not really a fan of the concept of dieting. Restricting what you can take in (especially with those diets that semi/fully control what you can and can not eat) makes it tougher to stay with it since once you do have some, you feel guilty then binge on it since you've already broken the diet. You're right on about fruits and vegetables, after that, you can probably snack on anything lowfat.

As has been said, anything in moderation. In terms of healthy, besides fruits and veggies, I read labels. I avoid anything with enriched flour corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, artificial flavorings or artificial coloring. Some products claim to have whole grains (I think it's funny how the front of the box screams it), but the whole grain listing is several down on the ingredients list after enriched flour, corn syrup and/or high fructose corn syrup. Yuck.
Kashi, Newman's Own, Trader Joe's (a chain of natural food stores that are very cheap in price) all make good "healthy junk," my term for things like cookies that are made with all natural ingredients but are still yummy. For the most part, I stay away from things like muffins because they're huge (if bought at a coffee house) and laden with white sugar and white flour. Eh. I think an average Starbuck's muffin is about 500 calories. Ick.

The best healthy snacks are un processed natural foods like fresh fruit and vegetables. Your facial features can change if you loose a lot of weight, you should never go lower than your healthy weight range for your height and build

Rice crackers,rice cakes with yummy toppings,rie breads,tiger breads,salads of all kinds ' ease up on the dressing', tofu, sushi,asian foods,whole grain cerials,juice,muffins,healthy selection cheese platter.
All of these are yummy and healthy,of course everything in moderation.

You would need to lose about a stone before your face was noticably affected.
Healthy snacks include: bananas, apples, low-fat crackers, ham, tuna, raw vegetables.

Everyone is different. If you lost a LOT of weight it may make you look gaunt and withdrawn, or you may lose it in places you dont want to. better to lose weight slowly than rapidly

Fruit, veg, granola bars, things that are healthy really, sorry.
Cardio exercise (dance, jogging, skipping, swimming etc) is the only way to lose fat.

try cucumbers, celery, carrots, dipped in low calorie salad dressing.
When i lost 80 lbs my neighbour asked if i had Aids since my face was hanging on my chin LOL
