I'm working on compiling a 'diet' (though not in the conventional "lose weight get rich" sorta way). Basically, I have three criteria:

a) Utter regularity and simplicity. As few ingredients as possible.
b) Extremely Low Cost, found in most grocery stores. As cheap, and nutritional, as possible.
c) Meets all nutritional requirements. In particular, I will be doing quite a bit of exercise (3hr swimming, 1-2hr taekwondo)

So far, I've got rice. I would include spaghetti, but it seems redundant. What else should I toss onto my simple list?

Chicken, fish, beans, lentles, all sorts of fruits and veggies, beef (my dad raises beef, eat more beef), yogurt, small sweets to help with the cravings, and the most important thing for a diets SPICES (they are calorie free flavour!). Lemon juice ands some good flavour too. Also, mustard...if you like mustard...

Make it whole wheat spaghetti. That will have you fuller longer and also it adds fiber. You should add fresh vegetables too. The ones you like anyways or at least get that V8 juice for whatever your missing. You should also do a multivitamin to cover what ever else that is missing.
