At my college's rec center there are a variety of Yoga classes, but I don't know anything about them or which would be best for increasing flexibility. The classes they have are: Yoga Basics, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga I, PiYo, Hatha Yoga, Flow Yoga, and a few different Pilates classes... and I have no idea what any of those are lol!

I lift weights and exercise regularly but I am terrible when it comes to stretching so I think I should get into one of these classes, what do you think?

I am a Yoga teacher and we just call it Yoga. But it will certainly help with flexibility. I would start with the Basics, see what you like and go from there. Vinyasa is poses put together and you should get that in the basics, i teach a few in my classes, Power is very strenuous and so is what is called Hatha in the west. Flow is generally just flowing poses, no breathing focus. And I have been taught the breath is essential. It depends on how old you are, generally under twenty five it is strenuous poses, little or no breathing focus, after that, breath with movement and then on from there. Try some classes but I would suggest basics and see if you connect with it. My flexibility has increased greatly.
