Hey, so today was my first day excercising with machines for a while, it's not like I'm out of shape, but I was barely out of breath, I did 2 and a half hours of going on the treadmill, elipitcal, and weirghs, did I do to much?

It depends on your body. your body was used to doing and annual workout, I guess, or just working out period. When you took that break from working out, your body then became accustomed to not working out. You were out of breath not because you were out of shape, but your body wasn't used to your heart racing like that in a while. If you keep working out like that annually, you will not be out of breath.

yes. a avg workout should last no longer than about and hour and 15-30 min. 30 min of cardio at the max and about 30-45 weights

Yes, you worked out too much in one day. I normally do an hour sometimes a hour an half and that is probably too much. Cardio and weight lifting.
