I've been going to the gym for a solid year now, averaging close 4 days a week.

I missed two weeks recently and was stunned to witness the strength I had lost. I had to go down at least 5 pounds for each muscle group.

How long do you think it will take for me to get back to where I was. I plan on hitting the gym again 4 days a week, 2 days for each muscle group on and off.

2 weeks is barely enough to measure a decrease in cardiovascular fitness. there would be no decrease in functional strength or endurance after only 2 weeks of detraining.

I'd say about one month. It's normally about double the time you've skipped.
