Okay this is the skinny (so to speak) I'm really really fat. To broke right now to afford a dietitian and really not interested in a get thin quick scheme. With that said, does anyone know any good websites or books for that matter on healthy eating? Any input would be greatly appriciated.

When i first started working on arms i did lots of chin ups, then i hit 20+ and went to Concentration curls and ez bar(80), i was able to max curl 62.5lbs(one 2.5 weight added only to one side :/).

Now i've restarted (after a pulled tricep right arm 5 months passed)and was just curling 45s standing, and doing some ez curl bars, and i noticed that my concentration curls were quite low. When i focus mostly on Concentration curls though, i cant do too many standing curls. I think that concentration curls make me able to lift higher weight(55lbs full range, 60lbs 60% range) but i feel like standing curls make my biceps burn more even though im doing 4 sets of 8 reps. Am i doing my seated curls wrong, or is it just power vs endurance(standing) im really at a loss. Sorry for explaining this so poorly, heh. I want to gain power and keep some endurance in my biceps. My friend for lunch everyday at at school packs a bag with another bag inside it. She doesn't eat lunch. She eats other wise. Is it for boys to think she's cool? And no offense to her but she ways around 95 lbs. she tells everyone she weighs 72lbs. I dont ha any idea so help PLZ!

Im over weight by like 40 pounds, and i was talking to friends and we were joking around and there like we should all be come anerexics and we were all laughing but all day ive been thinking about. how easy it would be to lose weight, i wanna do but not long term jusy long enough. I really dont know what to do because i can never stick to a diet and i probably sound idiotic but im serious, down to my core i wanna be skinny but i just dont know. maybe stress has to do with, im only 14 but i have a lot of stress and im always concerned with my weight and ervyone says i need self confidence but i wanna be skinny so bad that I hate how I look, its just crazyy.

i'm a very dry person and have been dehydrated and go to the hospital a few times. the things is, i ALWAYS forget to drink water. i can go a day and not remember to drink water unless i'm thirsty. and sometimes i don't feel like drinking water because it makes me want to throw up. help!?

ok , so i have lost about 40 pounds and it is probably the best thing that i have ever done but im still struggling with difficult fat on my chest. i have tried doing push ups, dips,bench press and they have made the slightest difference. Well i have 2 questions
1. does being fat then loosing weight keep ur man boobs?
2.will dropping 10 lbs be helpful?

I eat a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner but I can never manage to say no to a little bit of chocolate. I workout almost daily and I can't help but have some. I've already cut out: milk, sodas, chips et cetera but it's almost impossible for me to stop eating chocolate. Any suggestions? Lately I've just been getting a palmful or two of chocolate covered coffee grounds. Is that going to effect my diet that much?

I am looking for an alternative to soda's that still give's off that sweet taste or fulfillment maybe that drinking soda does ! This is a serious thing here , have tryed water and koolaid etc..... but doesn't give them same thing if there is something out there that is like it without all the calorie's i would love to know . thank you !!!

I'm really self conscience with the way I look, And constantly I look in the mirror and can't stand how fat I look.
I feel like I have The biggest stomach, especially after I eat.
I am 5"4, 14 years old, Female, And 89 pounds, I never got my period, and I am a size 32A in bras, and a size 0 in clothing. I try to eat only healthy, No soda, No Junk food, or Fast food, Fruits and Veggies, Lots of water, organic things,And I exercise at least 4 days a week, for about an hour. i am almost always cold, and shivery, and shaky, and dizzy.
On a daily basis I eat about 500-700 calories a day. I feel like I should be eating less. SOmetimes I make up excuses for not eating.
I really think I'm huge, please don't take this question as a joke.
Is this anorexia? Am I fat? Am I starving myself?

Hey everyone
I have recently purchased Sean Naleywanjy's "The truth about building muscle" E-book and from what i've read of it so far it seems excellent! Just one small problem, i have a set of weights at home which i'll use because i cannot get to the gym at all. The problem is, how am i going to get round the excercises where you have to use machines? Most of the workouts don't require machines but a few do. How am i going to get round this?

I'm self taught and was sure my stroke could use some refining. I found a coach at the local pool and after one brief lesson feel like my progress went backword.
Typically I swim in the ocean and when at the pool swim in the same style. Usaully a mile with no stopping, and have never wanted to wear speedos or shave as I'm one of those type of guys and speed is not that important to me. Well my new coach claims my surf trunks impede my stroke leading to decreased efficency. He also wants me to knock off my long swims and swim "intervals" with the resting claiming these will lead to not only faster swims but increased fitness- is this true?. I could see how the different strokes would exercise different muscles but I do other land exercises for some of those muscles I'm certain. He wants me to glide with my hands instead of digging which is what I was working on today. I don't feel like I got a good workout as I got tired really fast and a little frustrated. He was teaching 20 students

I'm going to start working out again (took a 2 month hiatus). I'm thinking about joining a reasonably priced gym, or buying an inexpensive treadmill or eliptical off craigslist, etc... Which is a better bet? I'm trying to think of all aspects.. price, convienence, quality, etc.. What's your opinion on which would be better?

** The gym would be 3 miles away.
