I decided that I wa going to try to lose some weight. So does anybody have any snacks or lunches I can bring to school that are healthy and simple. Thanks

Here are some of my favorite healthy snacks:
80 calories=A packet of low-calorie hot chocolate. A splash of skim milk can be added for increased flavor.
80 calories=1 container Campbell's Soup at Hand. Or experiment with low calorie spices on your favorite low-sodium soup.
95 calories=3 cups of air-popped popcorn, and it's fiber-filled, too.
100 calories=½ cup of fruit and two tablespoons of light whipped topping (like Cool Whip Lite).
100 calories=10 raw almonds, and they are chocked full of protein.
100 calories=A heaping cup of sugar-free gelatin. They come in assorted flavors, too.
120 calories=A 1oz bag of Soy Crisps. They're just as delicious as chips, and come in tons of flavors, including cheddar and ranch.
120 calories=A stick of string cheese with two or three whole grain crackers.
150 calories=A Zingers snack cake. Chocolate cake blanketed in sweet icing, or yellow cake stuffed with creme, your choice. A package of 12 individually wrapped cakes can be bought at Wal-Mart the last time I checked, for around $3.00. That's cheaper than the 100 calorie pack versions with only 6 inside.
150 calories=Smoothie made with 1 cup (8 oz) skim milk, 1/2 cup of any frozen fruit, and a tablespoon of Splenda or sugarfree chocolate syrup.
200 calories=A mini pizza made with ½ a whole-grain English muffin, a tablespoon of tomato sauce, and sprinkled with two tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese. Pop it in the microwave for a couple seconds.
230 calories=An entire Reese's Whipps candy bar. It has 40% less fat than the leading candy bars, just like the 3 Muskateers. Or indulge in a Fun-Size bar for roughly 140 calories.

*For lunch, I like to take along an organic granola bar, a bottle of water, a little baggie of carrot sticks/celery, and a baggie of popcorn. That comes out to roughly only 300 calories, and it's balanced and nutritious. :)

all natural foods will always reign supreme. this means snacking on low GI fruit like cherry's, raspberries, strawberry's, apples, pears, oranges, grapefruit, vegetables and assorted nuts and seeds.

Nature valley bars are delicious I take one to school every day;.. But as most of them include peanuts I would advise you not to show your teacher!! :P
