I am not on Alli, but my mother is and she has dropped 20 lbs in the past few weeks. It's a great program, but that's it, it's a program. You need to exercise and eat properly or you will experience the negative side effects of the pill (why everyone is telling you to have a bed pan handy). The people that the pill hasn't worked for haven't changed their eating habits. Although the pill helps you lose weight, it's really the change in your diet that makes the biggest difference.
Oh, and Alli doesn't have the harsh stimulants that other diet pills do so you don't need to worry about that.

That sounds too drastic for me. I prefer to exercise more and eat less. Yes I hear the people commenting on Alli Diet Pills that it causes problems with diarrhea

Yes, it is just like Zenical (which is a prescription). I loved it, although the side effects weren't desirable... Oily stools etc... I lost weight about 25lbs.. Worked great, although I would suggest after taking one pill for two weeks like the bottle says with your meals go up to two. That would put you at the Zenical amount, but be prepared for worse side effects.
Works best with a diet and exercise, let me add this... Nothing works without diet and exercise...

Yes, I currently take them. I haven't had any bad side effects.
You have to eat a sensible diet with them, but they can give your weight-loss a small boost.
They also motivate you not to cheat, because if you do, you might get sick!

No one should be taking diet pills. They are very harmful and can give you a heart attack. They make you lose weight by speeding up your heart rate, which is harmful. (or in this case act as a laxative which can cause serious harm to your internal organs). Exercise is the best way to lose weight and get your heart in shape.
