I have the same problem, I eat when I'm bored....I like to chew gum because it entertains your mouth and keeps you mind off food, the mintier the flavor is the better because it makes your taste buds think that everything you put in your mouth will taste bad....sorry not really sure why but it does. You can also brush you teeth when you have a craving, but I find this hard to do. Try doing a fun cardio video to keep your mind off it and eat food that fills you up.

Do NOT STOP wanting to eat. Thats bad. The trick is to eat foods that dont add extra weight like excess carbs and sugars. Lean meat is good and so is celery, which takes more calories to eat, then it has in it. You might want to consider slimfast, which gives you some of the nutrients but less of the stuff you dont want. You have do do excersise with this. Running, soccer, swimming. Sports that make you work. If you are excersising 3-4 hours a week intensively for 1-2 hours each time, you problem becomes less important because you will constantly be using calories, and you should still eat healthy, but you can relax a bit if yo do. Good luck.

Eat more. Seriously. Eat smaller meals more frequently. Aim for 5-6 little meals a day. Stick to foods with lower energy density. Drink a lot more water. Eat foods with high water content. Get as few calories as possible from liquid (milk or non-dairy alternatives are fine), especially avoiding sweetened drinks. In the long run, you will probably consume less food overall. Eat only until you are sated (no longer hungry, but you don't want to feel "full" and especially not "stuffed") and don't eat unless you're hungry. But don't let yourself get too hungry or you'll overdo it.
White rice is fine, just be sure you're eating more of what goes with it than the rice itself.
If you burn more calories than you consume, your weight will go down.

Two things come to mind:
Drink plenty of water.
Also, besides white rice, what are you eating? When you are eating foods that raise your blood sugar level very quickly, your blood sugar level goes up fast and then crashes soon after. And when it crashes, you get hungry again. The idea is to keep your blood sugar level even.
You do that by eating every 2-3 hours and eating fruits and veggies. Still have your white rice, but have some beans with it. Munch on fruit throughout the day and cut out as much processed food as possible.

You can eat more healthy, low calorie food, and cut way back on the fattening food, especially sweets and fats. You can also excercise as that will burn more of the calories you do consume, but basically all you can do is make yourself not eat too much.

I found the solution was a regimen of vitamins & minerals.
My theory is that the body is looking for the nutrients it needs.
Talk to a health food store advisor about requirements.
It's far more than the minimums listed on the bottles.
