This may be a silly question. However I'm starting a workout to tone my legs and MAJORLY build my glutes. LOL! So I plan to squat heavy for the added size. However, I want abs too. I know I need to get rid of the belly fat for the abs to show, but I don't want to get too skinny. I'm a girl by the way. I'm already 36-27-38 (5 feet 7 inches 139 lbs). Just trying to get more defined curves. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanx!!!!

i want to get abs really fast. Its fall/november right now so i want abs by january. i cant go to gyms becuase im too young. i dont want to go on an extream diet. i dont have money to buy excersise stuff. i want to get abs really fats please help me. i want abs like britney spears in the video "im a slave for you"

Last I knew most of the body is water, and hence most weight is water weight. Granted a few pounds of fat is good to drop, but most excess weight is water.

I was on this diet where i only ate meat vegetables (brocolli, spinach salad) and water to cleanse my systems and I lost three pounds in one day.(also becuz i excersised 2 times a day). Some pplz say im lying because it is physically impossible but I was physical proof that I did. Is it possible or not and is it healthey or not?

It’s only one day with a bunch of leftovers for the next few days and maybe some snacks on New Years. I’m usually thinner or the same weight because I’m running around all the time. Two or three days of splurging doesn’t make most people fat, does it?

Im adopted so idk how tall my birth parents r, but im only 5'3 1/2" and need to get to 5'7" its a certain height requirement for something im trying out for. Im asian, 13 1/2 (bday in Feb) and got my . about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Will i be able to grow those 4 inches? I eat healthy and do daily stretches, sit ups, and pushup, but I dont do a sport. What can I do to improve my growing (ps-I have iron supplement pills that i take about once every 2 weeks, if i take them about every 1 or 2 a week, will they help? its ok if i do, my doctor told me, but will it help?)

My dog is 3 months old and suddenly this morning started with a loss of appetite, she won't drink her milk, refused her mid-day meal and the evening meal. She has been drinking a little bit of water and vomited once today, I tried every trick to get her to eat something but she is still refusing. Gets up to walk around but I can see that she looks a bit weak. Up till last evening she has been a very very healthy dog that ate 3 meals a day but all of a sudden this morning she lost her appetite, is there any suggestion that anyone can offer me please?

ok i need to loose 10 lbs in about 10 - 15 days ...... and i m thinkgin on goin on a fruit diet .... onlyy fruits no vegetables no nothing ... but can u give me some suggestions of what kind of fruit to eat ...because i heard u cant eat banans and some other stuff sooo can you guys pleaseeeeeeee list the fruits that i CAN eat ...thank u soo muchoooo !!! =D

I've been making this smoothie for a while now, would like to try something new:

-ice cubes
-frozen strawberries
-frozen pineapple
-banana
-orange juice
-ground flaxseed

It's really good, but I'm afraid it has too much sugar. I make a lot, usually bring a 28 oz bottle full of it to class for breakfast.

What are some other good smoothie ideas that would be more healthy? Please, no yogurt, I like the icy ones over the creamy ones. I was thinking strawberry blueberry banana, strawberry mango banana, blueberry mango banana...would coconut be good to add because I love it but I'm not sure how healthy it is. Any other ideas like the flax seed as an additive would be great too, that stuff is really good for you and it adds a nice, mild nutty flavor to the smoothie.

How can you lower the bad cholesterol and raise the good cholesterol without drugs? I have diabetes (for 3 months now) also but it is totally under control with diet and exercise and no meds. I eat lean red meat about 1-2 times a week, if at all. I exercise some. I have a job where I sit most of the time although I try to be up and about. I have lost 15 lbs. I stay away from the sugary items, breads, cakes, candy, cookies... no alcohol for last 20+ years. I need some fresh ideas. Thank you.

My 5 year old, Olivia just started Kindergarten this year.
Yesterday, a little girl in second grade told her she was FAT!!
Olivia is 3' 7". She BARELY weighs in at 40 pounds.
Last night Olivia told me she needed to be on a diet.
A DIET!! How do I go about addressing this situation?

Also, my kids are vegetarian by CHOICE.
And i RARELY let them have candy or other sugary foods..
Why would that 2nd grader tell my kindergartener that??

I have been lifting weights for 8 years. Now its time to shed all the fat and I have to do it before I go to Vegas in 3 weeks. If I just drink water and one salad without dressing once a day. how soon will the fat shed? What do you recommend?

I gained 30 lbs last year from anti depressants. I lost 10lbs during the summer by interval running and portion control. Since starting college, I fell off the wagon and it's too cold to run outside (snow) and the gym at school is really busy.

My main problem is I eat a lot when i am sitting around doing homework and stuff. Any reccomendations on how to practice portion control?

Every day no matter what i eat, healthy or unhealthy, i get extremely sleepy. But it is only after i eat lunch. is there anything i can do to prevent this?
ie: my lunch today was chicken soup (home made) freshly squeezed orange juice and 1 ounce of beans)

We already have: loo roll, bread, cheese, eggs, ham, mushrooms, beans, hygeine products.

My neighbor and I were talking about this yesterday. He is in the service and in good shape at almost 30. I am 47 myself and in good shape also. And has the conversation continued, we spoke about healthcare issues and people saying that they have a FAT GENE. And I think it is sad because the real reason for weight problems, and soon to follow high blood pressure, diebeties and heart disease! American people in general eat to much, and excercise too little! And now we have children coming up with very litttle excercise in schools now! When I was in school, we had gym everyday for 45 minutes. And now, kids are lucky to have PE once a week!
I guess the bottom line really is accountability from each person. If you are heavy and want to lose weight, excercise and eat less, and include better foods in your diet. Eat because you are hungry, not because you are bored or depressed! What are your thoughts on this epidemic problem that we in America have?

I don't want to use any of that gain weight fast crap. I'm talking about gaining weight healthy.

What builds muscle or body fat? What types of food should I eat.

Should I exercise?

What can I do to change my diet to gain weight. I hardly eat sometimes because I don't really have an appetitie, and I incorporate vegetalbes into everyone of my meals when i cook for dinner, but otherwise (lunch, breakfast), it's mostly fast food that has no nutrional value (or very little).

Can someone help me please? I am very serious about it.
