I have been lifting weights for 8 years. Now its time to shed all the fat and I have to do it before I go to Vegas in 3 weeks. If I just drink water and one salad without dressing once a day. how soon will the fat shed? What do you recommend?

Starvation is not the answer to losing weight.
When you go into starvation mode, you will be losing muscle mass which is difficult to recover.

What do I recommend?
Be REALISTIC. 20lbs in 3 weeks is not.
Aim for 6 lbs which you can achieve through cardio and eating reduced portions, and foods with lower fat.

lifting weights is your problem, that adds muscle which weighs so much more than fat itself. I don't think you could lose 20 pounds in 3 weeks. even if you weighed 400+lbs. Salad if you don't prepare it yourself can have all these added salts and sugars.. serious. make it yourself have only green veggies.. boiled chicken if you feel light headed or.. and what I did to lose massive weight.. was heat up chicken or veg broth [1 cup is about 10 calories] and drink a lot of tea, coffee, water, and take vitamins to count for the lack of protein, iron that your avoiding.. no dairy, no red meat, sugars, bread [it turns to sugar once you have digested it], RUN and don't starve yourself silly, you will only end up at 11pm shoving food into your mouth from the fridge. if your hungry drink the broth and add in a bread crumb of a few [depending on calories], put lemon in your water, or brush your teeth [that works for me]. good luck.

You have to eat in order to loose weight. Or you'll be sick from not taking in any nutrients. Sorry but I don't think you could shed all your fat in 3 weeks.

YOU CANNOT LOSE MORE THAN 2 TO 3 POUNDS OF FAT PER WEEK, SAFELY. It is physically impossible. If you lose more than that you are losing muscle mass and water.
Not healthy to try to lose fast.

Trust me, Vegas will let you in, even if you're a little pudgy. All they care about is your wallet.

Eat healthy, exercise and don't starve yourself, it won't be a pretty picture(believe me I tried that, it doesn't help). eating only one salad each day is consider starving yourself. remember what i said and take care....bye!

DO NOT STOP EATING!! it is very dangorous, talk to a doctor, and work out but EAT! but alot but do NOT stop eating!!
