I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

DON'T STARVE! You must eat to keep your metabolism in effect. 5 or 6 small, low fat meals a day. If you are hungry, your diet is wrong. Every time I've had a successful diet, there was no hunger after the first couple of week's cravings. If you allow yourself to get hungry, you not only will cheat, but your hunger will slow your metabolism. The key is planning, and a little discipline for a couple of weeks. Eat often and eat healthy. Low carb diets are too hard. Your body cannot continue to function without carbs, just as your car won't function without gas. You can fill your car's tank with water and the gas guage will register full, but the car won't run. Eat low fat, complex carbs, and eat often. If you only buy and eat healthy foods, you won't have to waste time and effort counting calories. If you are eating grilled turkey breast, water packed tuna, plain white or brown rice, oatmeal with Splenda, whole grain pasta, black beans, steamed veggies, etc.., you can eat until you are full. If you have this kind of food 5 times a day, you will naturally not be able to overeat. Drink tons of water. Good luck.

Diet and exercise
To lose weight effectively you have to make a lifestyle change. That means keeping track of calories, fats and limit junk food intake. You also you try a MINIMUM of 30 mins of cardio each day and muscle toning 3 times a week.
Your daily calorie intake also depends on your weight.
There is no miracle weightloss. You have to want it and work at it. For some it comes off easy for others not.
Cant really say what you can do without knowing how much weight you need to lose. Realistically you can lose around 40-50lbs in that amount of time.

Don't eat. And when you do, make it in small portions. Or maybe 1 big portion but only 1 meal per day. Doing nothing but work and self-starvation pays off. I just hope you don't go too far. If you don't buy food, you won't have food. I suggest donating your personal meals' cost to a charity. You'll lose weight and become blessed by God because you gave something away to a needy person. If you can't tolerate this kind of thing then just diet and exercise. The farther you're willing to go, the more weight you'll lose. Not too far though!

Portion control. It's part of Weight watchers. They key thing to understand with weight loss it's not what you eat, it's how much you eat. I've been controlling portions for 9 weeks and I've lost 10 pounds already. Other people in my group have lost more. You also have to get out there and work out. And make sure you drink plenty of water.

to lose weight, decrease your caloric intake slightly and increase your burning of calories.... you reduce by 200 calories a day and burn just 200 calories more a day and youre losing 2800 calories a week which adds up over 7 months to alot. that or catch mono, followed by flu, followed by pneumonia. Moderate your meals and spread them out instead of gorging 3 times a day until youre stuffed. drink water instead of soda, beer or koolaid. these are just starts, if you spent your time searching through books or internet sites you find many other helpful hints, just check your sources for credibility (yahoo answers is nice for opinions but look into national and world organizations over us)
