You may not have stretched properly or not enought before and after your work out. Take some asprin or massage in some aspercream on you muscles and it should relieve the tention some. Just remember to stretch better next time.

The lactic acid is building up. Thats a good thing. I just got back from the gym an hour ago. Usually, you start feeling this effect in the morning. Its stiff. Its again, from the build up of lactic acid. Its really saying that youre body is in shock (I think?) and that you need to do this more. See, once you keep on working out, you wont feel this anymore, unless you do an over-the-top excercise, you know?
So its completly normal. The only time you want to check on things is if there is a sharp pain. Go see a doctor then. But usually in weightlifting, theres some sacrifice.
But I am only 15, and this is all from what my coach told me.

That means your arms are tired. Give them a few days to rest before working on your arms again. Your arms will get used to the stiffness....

I love that feeling. When you do exercise of any kind you actually create tiny microscopic tears in your muscle fibres. Your body then repairs those. That feeling.. is the feeling of being pumped. Get used to it. There is also a delayed fatigue onset that comes about two days later... then you know you have worked. Make sure you stretch properly on completion of your training. It makes a significant difference to the benefits of the workout... making your muslce fibres stretch increases their mass!

If you have worked them too much they will hurt when you try to straighten them out in the morning. If that is the case, take your workout a little easier. It is not good to work the muscles too hard. If you do you will need more rest in between workouts causing slower results.

It's perfectly normal and it'll get worse within the next 24 hours. Eat plenty of protein so your body can rebuild the muscle tissue.
