So i've lost 13 (28.6 lbs) kilograms in 2 1/2 months. i've gone from 67kgs (147.4 lbs) to 54kgs (118.8 lbs). do you think this is unhealthy or OK?
im just so sick of people saying how worried they are because i lost it all. i especially love (hate) mum and dad frequently and forlornly telling me "you got thin". well, duh.
i think it's just the case that noone is used to me being this weight before because i've always had that little extra baggage. yeh i look much slimmer but im not like movie star thin

thanks for your answers. i feel a bit better lol
my height is around 163 cm (5'4") and im almost 19.
lol and when i said "movie star thin" i was just trying to explain my body type lol. i dont wanna be freaky like that

and i've been pretty healthy i reckon. im not on a diet, just eating less and cutting out a lot of crap. i read a health institute's recommended daily diet recently, and it showed i was basically already eating what they had there so that was good. plus i've been doing quite a bit of exercise

im just happy i got to this point. i hadn't checked my weight since i started until today, so im still in a bit of shock

i do plan to lose a little more and tone up a bit. (damn cellulitey legs!)

you should be fine tho the optimum weight to lose every week is only 21/2 pounds.Otherwise you could actually be losing hard earned lean mass along with the fat.Eat healthy, exercise and you should be fine

Good for you! Yes, it is a lot to lose in a short time, but not dangerously so. You don't say how tall you are, so I'm not sure how thin you are in relation to your height.

However, how old are you? If you are under 16, it is possible that it's a lot of weight to lose. You are still growing and your body would need those energy reserves. Remember, your Mum and Dad are two people who don't want you to feel unwell because you lost weight.

Movie star thin? Aha. Hon, those aren't real people, so comparing yourself to them is a waste of time. They have teams of nutritionists and personal trainers and stylists and assistants make-up artists and plastic surgeons and what have you to keep themselves looking they way they do .... we ordinary folk have to rely on our genes and common sense. We live in a whole different world, the real world; their world has to do with creating fake worlds in movies. Remember this.

That sounds messed up. There was a girl in my college that died from losing too much weight too fast. You should slow it down a little, at least by half. You haven't got a time limit or anything.

It 's more about the way you did not how much. Did you lose it by not eating or by exercising and doing portion control.

As long as you didn't do it by starving yourself then I think you are fine.

Congrats, I know it's hard work

well done you,
i'm so proud of you.
I know how hard it is and how much discipline you have to have so why shouldn't you be pleased with yourself.
I'm so pleased for you.
Keep up the good work, but just don't go too far.
(sorry, just had to put that in, just in case)
Don't let people who are jealous of your seuccess bring you down.

If that was originally your goal and you lost weight the healthy way, then it's totally fine.
